Looking at some of the numbers, and like everyone else here, I didn't follow TCU and Arkansas over the years, so I'm just looking at numbers on paper.

In his 3 years at Arkansas, he had 2 top 10 nationally rushing attacks. In '21 and '22, the offense was extremely balanced with 2,781 yards passing/2,961 yards rushing in 2021 and 3,051/3/075 in 2022.

Interestingly, the TCU OL coach has been there since 2021, and they had top 30 nationally rushing attacks in both years. Briles arrived and the rushing numbers dropped precipitously BUT they've been 11th or better nationally in passing yards/game in all three seasons (they were 47th and 67th nationally in 2021 and 2022). So Briles showed up and they went from mediocre passing/great running to mediocre or worse running/great passing.

The TCU #s would indicate he's pass first and pass heavy. But the Arkansas numbers are so very balanced. In 2021, they had 4 different backs top 500 yards and Rocket blew up there in 2022. So he's obviously not anti-run. He led a potent, balanced offense at Arkansas. There's obviously a reason the TCU rushing numbers dropped under him, but I don't know the answer.

I believe the Head Coach makes the decision on what phase of the offense to emphasize, That is PART of the answer.

Also, what pieces do you have to run that offense.

In our shoes, barring major changes in the portal, we have a weak OL, adequate RB's, and a qb who can be a great runner with a strong long ball.

Yup. Like I said somewhere else. Those Baylor offenses with Art ran the ball extremely well. Absolutely torxhed UNCheat in their bowl game. Oh and RGIII also won a Heisman there with Art/Kendall running the offense.

It was Art Briles offense going back to his days coaching high school ball in Stephenville, TX. Kendal eventually worked his way up to OC, but during the RGIII Heisman season the OC was Philip Montgomery.

Yes, but I consider Art/Kendal to be the Mike/Kyle Shanahan of college football.
