Might get weird with some sours. Any recs?

We don't get many sours in Jackson but I've had New Belgium's sour and it is awesome.

Goose Island IPA is solid but I prefer a stronger, more bitter IPA. Still a damn fine choice though.

Is there more than one type of Chimay? I had some at a bar once and loved it, not sure what specific beer it was if there is more than one.

Yes. There is the red cap or premiere, blue cap or grand reserve, triple, and gold. I'm not a big fan of the triple, and haven't found Gold. The premiere, and grand reserve are out17standing. Most likely you had the grand reserve.

Just got home with the Palate Wrecker and Double Stout. I've had the double before but never the wrecker. Looking forward to trying it.

That's opposite ends of the spectrum. Both solid brews. Strap yourself down when getting into that wrecker.
