I just figured out how to find the free board after 9 days. Can't seem to figure out how to change my avatar from anonymous to my former handle.

So chime in here if you've been able to log in and post on the new board. If you can't post yet, well, then you shouldn't be chiming in. And if you can't read this, then just ignore it.
It wasn't easy but Brian got me in.

OK, troubleshooting guidance needed. Threads that I’ve read/am current on versus threads I’m not. Sometimes the font color of the threads I’ve read changes to indicate I’m fully caught up, sometimes not. I’ve played around in my settings/preferences/etc and can’t seem to find anything. Using standard view (i.e. not dark mode).

Anyone else experiencing this? Any guidance?

Today is the first day I've been able to even read anything under either of my two prior accounts. I didn't realize they were associated with email accounts I no longer have access to. Rurichdog may be retired forever, and that may not be a bad thing.

So I'm slowly moving forward thanks to all of Richie! He's doing a great job and has been very busy throughout this process!
Edit.
Was able to merge two different versions of WhiteBus and return one of greatest avatar on this forum, that's if you had ever met Scarlet at a Rutgers tailgate.

Thanks again Richie, all is back to normal! I won't need to bother you anymore!

Success but it took a little effort. I couldn't sign in as it wasn't recognizing my email or p/w. I did click the button to reset my password but attempted several times and never received the reset link from On3. I then created a new account using my Yahoo email but it wouldn't accept my username because it's already used... by me. I was an infrequent poster so don't care about my # of posts being lost. It's all good now. As always, I'm hoping for a big year this year.

I'm still having similar problems to RetiredFan. I had made corrections to the alias, even changed the password successfully. COntacted On3, who gave me instructions to log out then re-log in as my old alias Rutgers1976, but no luck so far, as I'm still posting with the Anon#s alias. Will constinue to try to work with them. Can't give up yet.

Even though my profile had it right, I was told that my alias was already in use. So they ended up changing it. Go figure.

Finally I got in to post. Before it was asking me to pay $1 to post in the last few weeks ($1 for a week and then $119 for the year) and all posts were premium. Now the free board looks like it's actually free again...

Also I changed my name back to what it was from 2006-2012 before John Otterstadt perma banned me (Blitz8RU) on the old rivals site instead of the 2012-2025 iteration of my board name, Blitz8RUCrazy. Same email address so I guess all my post stats from Blitz8RUCrazy carried over or something... 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, there was a glitch and the site launched with all boards being premium. That took several days to be corrected.

What percentage of people have crossed over the Bridge Over the River Kwai? Seems we have a lot of casualties! Board is quiet!

Keep on them. I got my old name back. It took a few emails with multiple days before I got a response. For those still trying to reset your password, I never got an email to reset my password....er, I just checked my email and it was just sent after three weeks of requests or whenever the date was that On3 took over . Richie suggested I login using the Gmail button after I didn't get any response from On3 and that did the trick. I still don't have my history restored and I put in a request for that a week or so ago.

I was having the same exact issues. Help Center was prompt in their replies but not very helpful. I clicked on the sign-in with Google (as that's the email this account was tied to) and now I'm in and can - obviously - post on the free board again. Strange, but no harm.

Finally got in by clicking the O on top of the login page (The O between the Apple and Gmail icons) and got prompt saying enter my email and a code would be sent. A code was sent. This worked after previously having clicked the Forgot Password link numerous times but never receiving an email

Glad it worked out for you both. It never even occurred to me to look the at that line of icons up top until I saw the post from @Lerxst72 mentioning being able to log in using the Google icon. My username isn't tied into either an Apple or Google account so I figured I'd click the only other option on that line and see what happens

Thank you for the instructions.

I tried to log in with my email and password, but it did not work. I assumed I had the wrong email address (I wasn't sure which address I used to sign up for Rivals 20+ years ago). Clicking the "Forgot Password" link with different possible email addresses did not work. Reaching out to On3 support was equally worthless. They told me that if I had a free account, I needed to sign up again. It seemed like way too much effort for a website I currently visit only once or twice a month, and post just a few times a year.

But I saw your post; clicked the O, and entered what I (correctly) thought was my account email address. I got a code, and was able to sign in. I got another email to confirm. And then I went to settings to set up a new password. It seems to be working fine.

Richie may want to pin your instructions.

Come back a bit more often….reasonable perspectives are fewer and farther between.

Agreed on making this info better known. This was extremely frustrating (and I’m far from an amateur) @Richie O
