She has arrived!

Make her blonde and that's a pretty accurate representation!

I finally made it over- thanks to Richie. ON3 kept wanting to just send me a link to create a new account. Finally got here but have lost all conversations I have had over 20 years. I reached out to ON3 support to see if they are able to restore those, as some are very important to me.
Just got in on my phone. Used the browser but the first page asks you to join. Took a while to figure out how to just sign in. I had to go into a thread and go to where I would usually comment and they had a link that says you have to either sign in or create an account to comment. Hit that- put in email/PW and got right in

I wonder if Beaced has made it over, or even has had help ensuring that he makes it over. It'd be a shame if this acquisition/merger ended his participation.

After finally arriving and posting my thoughts, on3 management sent me this message
1752263470431.jpeg
one of my favorite replies ( happened years ago) to something I posted was " this is why many of us have you on ignore". I asked why he/she didn't have me on ignore, but never heard from him/her again:unsure:

I just figured out how to find the free board after 9 days. Can't seem to figure out how to change my avatar from anonymous to my former handle.
That's not your avatar, that's your username. In order to change your username, you'll have to email support@on3.com with your email address, your current username and detail what exactly you want them to change. Please include your current username and the one that you want to change it to.

I asked this on the pay side, TKR is still waiting for the old threads to be converted over. They are still converting user data for the site as I just saw my number of posts restored but not the reaction score. Unfortunately On3 misled everyone on how quickly the conversion would happen in an attempt to make it look seamless.

I am here... with a lot of extra digits. Trying to get on3 to trim the username back to what it should be.

I wouldn't say they misled anyone, a lot of user clout came over day one. Also they moved over historical posts for the main board, and five other sites on day one and two.

Either way, it's coming VERY SOON.

My recollection is that originally On3 wasn't going to move very much for the old sites, but the users (and probably people like you) persuaded them to the contrary. On3's post on X made it clear that the switchover would take some time. So I agree they didn't mislead anyone

Took On3 support 6 days to close the loop on merging my original account but finally got it done.

Mobile browser had a new update today, I recommend you delete the app and redownload it. Should fix all issues with the app, plus the new update lets your change the app logo to the TKR logo!
App downloaded.

Edit: I'm in and posting.

Just curious - did On3 change your board name when you logged in or did you create a new name when you first logged in?
I had made the name knight shift27 when I could not log in with my old name knight shift. It reverted back to my old name yesterday, I changed my avatar back, and today, I am back to the new screen name knight shift 27. 🤷‍♂️

This is weird. I was able to change my password back, but apparently my new e-email logs me in as knight shift 27, while my old e-mail logs me in as knight shift. I'm back. I will write to on3 support and see if they can merge knight shift 27 with knight shift, or just skip it and move on with knight shift. I feel like I'm talking to a different version of myself answering my own post as knight shift 27.
