If I'm not mistaken, I thought it was Sycamore who pushed for either the success factor as they had been knocked out of the playoffs 5 times by Montini, Should have pushed for 1-32 seeding.

I would take the UNDER on BR-Huskie also of 41. I would say something like BR 19-0
MC score looks accurate

Hope over Gibson City: I've been high on Hope all year. Can't back down now

Montini over Sycamore: Great matchup. I think Montini gets the win in a hard fought battle

MC over LZ: This won't be close

BR over OPRF: BR is just clicking right now. Won't be close

Oswego over LA: Loyola is playing better ball, but Oswego has been a great team all year and they get the W in a great game

PREP BOWL PLAYOFFS (ROUND 2)
SR over MA: This benefits a team like Rita way more than it would a Marmion

DLS over SI: History is never kind to the good teams that lose a hard battle in the playoffs the week before. DLS will be benefiting greatly from this Prep Bowl playoffs come next season

You called it Meteors by 28 in shutout fashion. Earlier in the day when I read this I thought you were spot on Tough to get up after the ND game

Perhaps it was tough for Ignatius to bounce back after its state loss, but credit the D kids as well. They could have said the heck with it after losing to Laurence two weeks ago, but showed ample heart and played well against Ignatius in what was likely our seniors final home game on our new field.

Proud of the D kids for their resiliency. I’m liking this November football. Go Meteors!

So now, if there is any method to this madness (which I doubt) D should get a bye and StL @ Mustang next week? Asuuming no teams get bounced this week....

Ouch!

Brutal season for Marmion (1755) goes 0-4 in CCL Green.
Only wins were against much smaller schools with 5 combined wins...:

  • 1-8 DuSable (553)
  • 1-9 St. Joseph (335)
  • 3-7 Leo (264)
