Tennessee: Tobias Harris and Scotty Hopson
Kentucky: Enes Manter, Brandon Knight, DeAndre Liggins
UGA: Travis Leslie and Trey Thompkins

At first glance it seems like things just got a lot tighter between the East and the West. I know UK has their usually bought and paid for class coming in, plus Terrance Jones and Doron Lamb coming back. Florida loses three senior post players in Parsons, Macklin and Tyus so they are due for a fall. I'll have to check on seniors and transfers in and out, but just looking at this list you've got to think Vandy and Kentucky are the clear favorites in the East next year, and I'm not sure there's much difference in the other four.

based on recruiting and whats returning:

East:

1. Kentucky - simply loaded- wins the East and the SEC Tourney
2. Vandy- very good returning team
3. Florida- lost some good players, but still talented and well-coached
4. Georgia- bringing in a McD's AA and a few solid players return
5. Tennessee- still some talent- but new coach has a mess to clean
6. SC- wheels falling off for Horn

West:

1. Alabama- best returning team in the West and a good recruiting class
2. State- lots of talent with very little leadership- hardest team to predict- Forrest Gump say "like a box of chocolates"
3. UPig- lots of players returning and a very good recruiting class coming in for a new coach- will be dangerous
4. LSU- returns the whole team plus a McD's AA and an Iowa St transfer- should be very improved
5. Mississippi- loses Warren, but will compete for an NIT berth as usual
6. Auburn- team will be better- they need to keep Barbee as long as they can to keep turning it around
