He was flown in and interviewed and given the tour, did the meet and greet with the cigar boys, etc. During negotiations, he held out to substantially increase the pay for assistants, which was not immediately agreed to. Giannini pressed on with the search and scheduled an interview in Hattiesburg for Wilson. Due to icy weather (see the linked article) in Oklahoma, Wilson was not flown in as planned for an interview and the cigar boys anted up to meet Fedora's terms, which made the whole thing a moot point.
