Ever since I can remember I have been told told that MSU people, and AM people were very similar. Similar schools, situations.
I know several AM alumni, I may be weird...but I'll take e'm.

I have never seen a more passionate fan base anywhere. They yell like you wouldn't believe. And they yell on every single play. Loudly. Days before a game, they actually put people in the stadium, not sure how many, and have "yell practice". And when they lose they either stay in the stadium or got back later and yell some more because they obviously hadn't done a good enough job yelling.

The marching band is very cool. I don't even know how to describe what they do on the field. Its just cool.
