The story revolves around Oher. It involves Orgeron being the newly introduced coach, so that would make it the 2004 game.

Of course, it's a damned movie. The point was to illustrate how passionate the family was, not to accurately portray the events.

Are you telling me The Blind Side is fiction? That the Tuohy's didn't adopt this 6'5" All American out of the kindness of their joyous hearts? That they didn't feel sorry that he had to sleep in the cold?

That's the one where we wore the stupid white number helmets and stood in the rain for four hours.

Ole Miss fans proclaiming that the Tuohys didn't even know whether Oher had any football skills at all when they adopted him.

Figuring the timeline from the book: before the Tuohys took Oher in permanently, Oher had been at Briarcrest a year and a half, staying with 5 different families (including the Tuohys), had completed a full football season andmade 1st team All-State in Tennessee, had college coaches flying in from all over the country to see him, and had been named by Tom Lemmings one of the best offensive tackle recruitsever.

Wow, Med. I'm skeerd you are next going to say that those three National Titles in Football aren't legitimate and the Baseball (swimming) team didn't cheat to get to Omaha in 1972.
