Because the game is in Oxford I could care less but Thanksgiving Day will always be my choice.
I will say the Friday game at 11 am in Starkville was a cluster 17 on Thursday night around town. There were tons of people that arrived in town Thursday afternoon / evening and trying to find something in town to eat was nearly impossible. Even the fast food restaurants were closed with except for I thin sonic on the east side of town. If any place was open there was a line out the door or the parking lot was gridlocked around 6 pm.

At least I've got a while to think of an excuse not to go to the in-laws house on Thursday.....................(checks notes to see what the last excuse used was) Sometimes I feel like Juan Epstein on 'Welcome Back Kotter' trying to keep the excuses straight. "got to work", "got to work on truck", "sick", "kids sick", etc etc etc
Yeah, I don't mind it being on Friday. That's easy for me to go. So I'll dress in some neutral clothing and watch the *** beating and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Unacceptable. If you are going, be a man and wear maroon. Or go full body paint and give out lots of hugs.
