If anything is was the elbow to Jarvis throat that warrants an ejection! All he did was retaliate and shove is forearm back at him. You are pure ******** reece davis!

You can't throw elbows like that and you can't throw punches to the back of the head of players.

You are a stupid ****.

I had no reason to expect anything other than a loss tonight, considering State whipped OM at home.

We already whipped your tennis team, so take that.

Varnado put an elbow in Henry's stomach when Henry went up for the rebound. Henry then put the elbow in Varando's face. Then, Varnado threw him to the ground with an elbow/punch.

They both should've been sent packing, but it's SEC officiating.

If Jarvis hadn't pushed him, the refs never would have caught Henry's foul. Henry already had four fouls and Jarvis had two or three. I think it was just a heads-up play by Jarvis. Yeah... that's it.

No punches were thrown, so no ejection was warranted. It was clearly a double foul and nothing more.

It is obvious that if the roles were switched, this board (including me) would be going apeshit.

Bruiser, its called contact in the post. The elbowonduring the rebound is friggin incidental. The elbow to Jarvis face wasnt needed, and the pushing elbow to Henry'sheas wasnt needed.

But ejecting both?...thats extreme.

Did anyone else see the ref go over to the ESPN table after the call was made to discuss it with them. It was like he had to get their approval.

I agree. The elbow in the post is just part of the game and it was perfectly fine within the rules. It's a Dennis Rodman play though, and it's why Henry threw the elbow, which was a non-basketball play. Varnado retaliated to the elbow. They were both flagrant in my opinion, and both should've been ejected. It doesn't really matter. I'm just surprised at the way they handled it.

Or it was like the ref was helping out everyone watching by explaining thedecision so all viewers would understand what the refs had called.

The ref went over thereAFTER the fouls had been announced.

I thought it was a great job of communicating what was going on to fans.
