...good season, Arkansas. You had a tough road in Tempe but runners-up at a 1-seed is nothing to be ashamed of.

On another note, LSU should have been invited.

Bama has to beat FSU twice tomorrow, which is highly unlikely.

Looks like they'll be 4 SEC teams in Supers (Vandy, South Car, UF, MSU).

That's some good company for us. Makes us look good that we are the team in along with the 3 east powers. We definitely are gonna get some good pub. Only issue is that we play one of them.

To get Florida through to Omaha since there shouldn't be sec umpires ( assuming here and we all know what that gets us). It seems over the season that we definitely had a few umpires that in a tight call, msu got shafted...not to mention the changing strike zone from several umpires. All that being said, you can't argue poor officiating when they are crushing the ball out of the park like they did yesterday against miami. We have a shot but I don't think we can overcome a bad umpire since we rely so heavily on effective pitching.

...not overhyped like the Big East of Basketball

went in with 7 teams
2 #3 seeds finished at least second
all 7 won at least 2 games
4-7 are in SR, could be 5

the strike zone is from 3 inches above the top of the knee to just below the letters. To stay in the game we have to pitch down in the zone....and we need an ump who's zone starts at the "bottom" of the knee and two inches OFF the corners. We have not gotten too many of those strike calls this year. I hope we get a guy who likes pitching duels in game one and two.
