as we all know now...
The rumor going now is the plane has become aware of the tracking due to media showing up in Lubbock earlier today and stopped the tracking somehow..
Flight is supposed to be heading to Kansas City to meet with the Kansas AD.....about A&M's spot
Technology is great.

*edit* Plane has now been confirmed still in Austin...but wouldn't be surprised for that to be it's next stop.

all options are still on the table.

They may not have said 'no' but I believe they are a no-go to the Pac-##. I think their 2 options are waiting to hear what kind of crap the Big12 commish spews out regarding $$$ trying to keep the conference together and deciding to stay or coming to the SEC. Supposedly, the Big12 (or is the Big 12 now the Big 10 and the former Big 10 now the Big12?) is trying to promise the remaining members $17mil per year in tv revenues. A lot of people are calling BS. They'll also lack revenue generated from a conference championship game and they're pissed becuase Texas will have the money to start their own network and will still basically control the conference which is what lead to the breakup in the first place.

No matter how all of this turns out, its funny as **** how it has blown up in Texas' face. They thought they were gonna make the easy jump to the Pac-1 and increase their recruiting footprint in Cali while leading the other Big12 South teams by the nose to join them and all the while, blame Nebraska for being the reason the Big 12 broke up. Well, Nebraska put an end to that when their president and Tom Osborne kind of chewed Texas a new one during their announcement of joining the Big 10. Then A&M totally took them to the woodshed with the SEC talk. With an SEC bound A&M likely to be on even recruiting ground (or higher) with Texas coupled with the fact that Texas had already turned their noses up at the SEC, they had no choice but to pull back and try to make one last attempt to save what remains of the Big 12.

I'm hoping A&M comes to the SEC and all of us clean up recruiting in Texas and that the Ogre can build his fence back around SoCal even while on probation and that Texas doesn't get squat from there. It would be fun to watch them fall like Florida State did from where they once were.
