The Goonies are good enough to be a Lego set…

I saw some of these new sets recently, and I started to wonder… what movies from this generation are going to be the new classics in 15-20 years? Are there any or is the entertainment industry truly in as big of a rut as I feel like they are?

Lego’s probably won’t be a thing in 20 years.

Related/not related, but my son and I were talking about a car show recently and discussed the complete absence of iconic cars in movies and tv lately. Are there any cars in movies that will be considered classics in decades to come?

There's a theory going around that our culture peaked somewhere in the mid-2000's and is now on the downhill side, and that seems about right.

The pussification of America. We went from Joe Willie Namath and Burt Reynolds smacking around chicks in the moves to male toxicity. It's why super hero movies are so popular now.....to be a real man you have to put on a costume and cosplay.
