haha....this is great....i don't won't to get my hopes up but i hope they go through with it....my uncle is a member of the alumni board at ole miss and just called me about the new situation in the grove this year....he said they have had constant complaints about how crowded the grove is, underage drinking, beligerent drunks, stolen equipment, (you get the picture)....well he said this they're regulating the number of tents to 1,200 throughout the entire grove and circle...you are going to have to register your tent with the board on August 15....they're going to have a lottery to see who's tent gets set up....this is going to ruin tailgating as they know it...i'm so excited.....opinions?

That's a good one, one of the better conspiracy theories I've heard, especially since I don't see how they could logistically work that out even if they wanted to do it. The fact that something like that would excite you though means you probably wouldn't fit in at this site.

****, I dislike Ole Miss and all, but I could care less if they decide to regulate tailgating in the Grove or not. That's just not an excitable topic for me personally.

Gently regulating the Grove and leaving the rest of the tailgating areas alone isn't a bad move, anyway. There's plenty of room for drunken free-for-alls, and you can let the monied donors imbibe in peace.

do you give one rat's *** what Ole Miss does? Who gives a ****? The fact that you concern yourself with what in the hell they do just means you give a **** about Ole Miss. I don't give a **** if they ban tailgating in the grove, if they all get drunk and puke on each other, if Archie gets pissed on by a drunk in the grove, or anything else about it. I don't go there. I don't give a ****.

Now, with that said, if MSU were going to pull something like that, I sure hope we would have enough sense to turn the limitation into a money maker rather than just having a lottery. Auction? Yes. Lottery? Stupid.
