The College Football Playoff survey: 62 coaches' opinions and Jim Harbaugh's plan
https://www.espn.com/college-footba...-survey-62-coaches-opinions-jim-harbaugh-plan
That was something he put together in the Spring of 2018, which they stated as such in the article. UCF was pretty stout that year, and the year in-which they self proclaimed themselves national champs.Out at Ohio St at #4. They should be #1. Harbaugh is such a doooooosh.
LOL at UCF in his brackets
The First criteria should be quality true Road wins. If you have none, then you can’t say you deserve this, you deserve that.
South Carolina won AT Georgia. Can your team match that???
Then quality neutral site wins. Oregon outplayed Auburn almost the entire game and then let it slip away. Not sure any other team could have matched that win. Plus Oregon won AT Washington.
But if your team has zero quality true road wins and your only so called “big” wins came at Home, I really don’t think you have much to crow about.
Lot of rain games in the south. Tornado warnings, thunder storms and cancellations due to hurricanes.
Southern teams have their fair share of weather issues.
Those happen in the north too. But generally, the south doesn't have to cope cold, ice and snow, like the north does sometimes.
Here is the weather forecast for Minneapolis. Check out what it's going to be like on Saturday. Both Penn State and Minnesota are undefeated and are playing outdoors there on Saturday. It's a requirement for these teams to be able to play well in this weather in order to go undefeated. And yet teams like Alabama will never have to play in it.

To be honest, each and every year, anybody can look at most team's schedules, and cherry pick it to the point to make somebody else appear to be better. The good news, is that all these teams tend to play one another within conference, allowing for a conference champion. All conference champions should get an automatic invite to the end of the season playoffs. I mean, let's say, for example, Utah were to go 11-2, winning the PAC 12. They won't make the field of four (most years), but who's to say the PAC 12 schedule wasn't 3x harder than Clemson's ACC schedule? Point being, you're able to win your conference on the playing field, and you should be able to win a national title on the playing field, as opposed to being the most popular guy on campus. College football is the only sport I can think of, where each and every year, you have this same ole controversy play itself out.Wisconsin played Central Michigan, a very mediocre South Florida and Kent State, yet were ranked in the top 5 as a result.
No one can criticize undefeated Baylor who has yet to break the top 10

Baylor OOC 124 out of 130
Wisconsin OOC 72 out of 130
FYI - A&M is a conference game for Bama.
Clemson's IN CONFERENCE 130/130.
Shouldn't Baylor be at least 6th using Clemson's metrics?
Bama's best OOC game - Texas AM.
Clemson's best OOC game - Texas AM.
Maybe we should schedule AM next year. Drop whoever to get them. Seemingly, just playing AM will get you into the top of the rankings!
