Interesting on some of these. Corso and several former Heisman winners (fmr) only voted for 1 of the top 3. I wonder who Corso's other choices were.

I know this is an open voting format, but when you see somebody vote for Alabama S Rashad Johnson or BYU's QB in the top 3, it just takes something away from it.

When Gino Toretta won it, new it had lost all significance it ever had.

One interesting thing I noted from a quick scan of the votes was the almost complete lack of love for Graham Harrell. Almost nobody voted him in their top 3 despite the fact he put up very comperable numbers at Texas Tech as Bradford and McCoy did at Oklahoma and Texas, and they both have more overall talent to work with than he does.

is an outdated trophy given to the most popular player that year on a team that the media loves like Forida, Notre Dame, USC, Texas, etc. The entire thing is worthless.

Karma usually allows the guys to be complete failures in the NFL, though.

that Rusty Hampton had a vote (scary) and that some guy in Grenada (Coach34?) had a vote. The Grenada thing seemed kind of random.

I would love to see what would happen if we ever actually had a Heisman Candidate and Hampton didn't vote him #1 just to see the reaction on GP.

Too bad it no longer goes to the best player in college football. Do you realize this award has gone to a QB every somthing like 8 out of the last 9 years?

The Heisman is the most overrated trophy in the trophy season, just under the Miss America sash. It should be renamed the "Whoever is sponsoring it this year since after the DAC dropped from it, it became meaningless. Which guy will ESPN, ABC and CBS pick to be the most popular and most likely guy to take the best picture, Memorial Trophy." A far cry from the man it was named after. You know it pained the writers and former winners to give it to Tebow last year since he was the Most Outstanding Player In College Football, like it says on the award. Instead of some media darling. Bradford looks like any second he should start singing, "I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee. Won't my momma be so proud of me?" Circa the vulture with a learning disability from the Bugs Bunny cartoons. The voting system for the award is horrible. Once the finalists are chosen, the votes should only be for those 3. If the people who are voting for the award dont like the finalist chosen, change up the committee that chooses them.
