Don't forget the dawgnews listserv back in the early 90's (think 93-ish or so); it really was the true start of the message board era. That's where I first met Gene and he told us to check out the new webpage he was developing (yes, like a stranger with candy).

The Bulldogs Only Message Board (BOMB) was started around '96 or '97.

P.S.--Thanks so much for triggering my Wardlaw reflex, DS. May your old 19" starter-plasma screen die on you!

There was one other short-lived msg board back in the day.
Some old tail-gaters got it together. Can't remember the name of it.

The BOMB was the height of MSU website fandom.

These Genespage bans back in the day. What were the reasons for bans? I barely remember those pages, but the very few times on Genespage back then, there was a very controlled message.

Haralson actually joined Michael and Paul when they created BDJ and was there briefly(it had an ESPN affiliation) , which is how Logan Lowery became the publisher of Bulldog Blitz on Rivals for a few years, but Rob ended up being the first victim of what a scummy business person Wardlaw is.

I said "who is our sideline reporter? He is horrible".

BANNED
My gosh. I remember back then I posted a comment called Tad Smith , "Tad Smell" as a joke. Then was told by several on their it was a classless post, and we are classier than that. I never returned to Genespage after that.

In their defense, the joke is wack.

I paid the $120 and still think it was criminal for us to have been taken.

I was on dawgnews.

There was also a BBS around 91 or so… Dawg House?

And I too spent $100 on Bulldawg Junction…

I met Rob Haralson back around mid 2000's I guess. He was a Garden Center Mgr at a Lowes in Jackson area. Somehow we got on the subject of MSU, media etc and he told me who he was. Heck of a nice guy, I was sorry to hear he was mixed up w/ Lifetime Wardlaw

DS: don’t forget that time you went on vacation and Hadad proceeded to ban virtually everyone on SPS.
