I've heard the $1.2 mill figure, but I've also heard that the $1.2 mill buyout relates to a point in time preceding the LT contract extension and raise.

Maybe it's a product of the lack of competitive salaries in their conferences when compared to the SEC, but it doesn't change the likely fact that MSU could snatch up one of those coaches when many of them could damn near double their salary.</p>
