I am just asking if the school gives money to talented kids they are "recruiting". My nephew is a very good player that hasn't received much college attention. The Hun School is recruiting for a prep year. This could really help him get more exposure, bring his grades and test scores up and develop his body more. It is a viable option, but only if he isn't paying to go there.

I don't believe so. 99% sure most of the athletes get "academic" scholarships or financial aid, not officially an athletic scholly. At least that's how my high school did it.

Almost positive that they do. At the minimum, they do like the Ivies, give need based but will be more open to doing so for top athletes.

Nice little campus just up 206 from The Lawrenceville School between Princeton and Lawrenceville. Back in the olden days when we played them, they were not very good at most sports. Most famous athlete was Myron Rolle who was one of the top national recruits in 2006 and went to FSU and then on to Rhodes Scholarship.

Agree that this is what they almost certainly do so my 1st sentence was incorrect and misleading.
