Guys, I really think this puts us by in the hunt for SEC West. Think about it: UT, Ark-Fayetteville, Mississippi, and Kentucky are all not that good. Wins there put us at 5-2. All we will need is a big win over Bama and we are win the damn thing! We can stop their running game and our newfound star at QB ought to be able to put up some points on their week secondary. Too, I think this big win over a ranked team like Vandy can really get our losing mentality turned around so I think we are going to have some serious momentum the next few weeks. Thoughts? I am SO PUMPED right now!

1. Arkansas is not terrible. They have run through 2 top 20 defenses like a hot knife through butter the last 2 weeks.

MTSU and Kentucky are both capable teams and one will beat us. Croom never prepares us for the Egg Bowl.

Because if we somehow win tomorrow, we will have at least a shot to get the season back to break even with the 3 winnable home games against MTSU, KY and ARK. Not that I'm even thinking we will win all 3 of those, but at least we will have a shot. Lose to TN and then we have to win all remaining home games plus probably go into Oxford and win . I just don't see us doing that combo at all. 6-6 is nothing to write home about but after starting 1-4 it would at least maintain some of the momentum started from the winning season last year.</p>
