Why exactly? Because it makes you feel better to have someone(s) on the team to demonize after that disaster of a season?

Lorenzen sounds like an angry parent pissed about how their 12 yr old has been mishandled by the middle school football coach. Clearly, he is hearing this stuff second hand since he is no longer on the team, so it seems to be a low rent move to take what the Towles camp version of events are and air it as if it's 100% truth.

If these WRs are such horrible characters capable of the things he describes, what does it say about the staff and their continued use of them during games?

I'd have more respect for what Lorenzen says if he would acknowledge the reality that Towles was pure garbage as a starter.

Demonize other starters? Jesus, that is so over the top melodramatic, it doesn't begin to describe my sentiments regarding the matter.

FWIW, Lorenzen did say that Barker needed to start after the Georgia or Vandy game IIRC. I agree he has a soft spot for Towles (which is understandable since he coached him) but he was at least somewhat objective with regards to his performance.

Lorenzen has spent the better part of the season pushing the idea that the receivers are intentionally playing without effort due to an agenda because they prefer the backup QB.

I guess whine like a ***** about certain players would work better for you?

he's pushed the idea? hell fire this entire message board and hundreds of posters have pushed the same exact idea all season long. pretending he alone invented it and he alone thinks it is pretty tone deaf.
