here is what I'll say. part of their issues recruiting this cycle is because when you clearly prioritize Stokes as your No. 1 guy, other players feel that.
You can't commit as much NIL funds to other targets, because you have so much tied up in Stokes.
The interesting part about this recruitment is that it sounds like they were close with Stokes back in October. and then they were close to landing Christian Collins. everything looked like it was trending that way for both of those guys.
now you see all this JMI stuff coming out, and agents not wanting to agree to some of the language in the contract, and it makes you wonder if that had something to do with it.
