According to the Practice Roster posted by Marcello above, EA Sports NCAA football created player Shane McCardell is weighing in at 265. At 6'5/265 he is now bigger than Ferguson and probably our biggest DE. aGAIN, combining that with his well documented speed, you would think dude would be hell on a right tackle. I swear if they would have created the perfect DE in Weird Science instead of Kelly LeBrock, it would have looked like McCardell.<div>
</div><div>If Shane somehow lived up to his athletic potential this season, he would definitely be a big time challenger to incumbent Chad Bumphis for the title of "my boy" - he showed flashes towards the end of the year. Did anyone pick him as a breakout player?</div><div>

It was between him & Ferguson for my breakout defensive player. I went with Ferguson due to the SR factor & his experience. I remember McCardell physically looked like a beast during the spring game. I said back then he must have gained 20 lbs in the past year. He sure looks the part... but guess we'll have to see if he can actually play or not.

If we really thought much of him as a DE, I can't imagine why they moved him to TE before last season.
