Who ate there Saturday?

I must say they were on their A-game. After years of disappointingly mediocre food from there, it was as good Saturday as I remember it from my days there in the early 90s. The mild sauce was spot-on. Hot sauce was good, but not paint-peeling hot like it used to be (which is fine by me). Meat was good. Baked beans were the stuff - had little strands of pork, a bit of a sweet flavor with a hint of beer mixed in. And the garlic puck toast was awesome.

Football is not all that's making a comeback.

The old guy, don't know his name, was there working. Thought he was the owner and had sold it years ago.

I took off the smoker at the Chop Starkville residence after the game were most assuredly better than anything at Little Dooey's.
