[QUOTE="VaultHunter, post: 131432710, member: 1391300"] He doesn't have an offensive staff innovative enough to win in this conference. Yet At programs like Alabama or Georgia or Troy when you have more talent than everyone else you can focus solely on fundamental football. Perfect execution and mistake free you can wait for the lesser team to make mistakes and mess up. That's where WVU is now. You can stick with 5 formations and run the same 20-25 plays all game and out execute other teams until you come up against someone equally as talented. The problem is when you are a team full of 3 stars you have to have innovative ways of coaching on offense and defense. We say this last season with Koenning. His in Game calling was 90% the reason the defense was as good as it was for the situation. Rid Rod was an innovative offensive mind. Dana was an innovative offensive mind. It's why regardless of who we lined up against we seemed to always move the ball and score. Leach is a master play caller and play designer and it's why he walked into Miss State and they already have a signature win. I'm sure they have plenty of other things to get better at but when you have an explosive offense it gives you a shot no matter what other areas you struggle in. Not saying Brown won't become this way but to win at a program like this you have to out coach and out play call " better teams" We are completely predictable on offense and have been since Brown got here.
