I am with you. Manhattan is my go-to winter drink (and would you look at that - cool air just blew in!) and I hate it when I get it "up" when I order out. I drink them out of a whisky tumbler with ice - so its not like I am a stickler for tradition on the Manhattan front.I'm convinced the Manhattan would be as popular as the Old Fashioned if it wasn't typically served in a Coupe glass, which I hate drinking out of.

Speak for yourself. I love an Old Fashioned!!This is all disgusting. In Birmingham, AL we drink our bourbon straight. Not water, no mix.
