a 6' 6" pitcher from Ingomar, in the 7th round. Did this kid sign with anyone? I don't remember ever seeing or hearing his name.

I've also been waiting to see Pomeranz come off the board and just realized he's only a sophomore. I'm not looking forward to facing him again. Assuming his arm doesn't fall off, or course.

Hodges, from what I understand is very, very raw. I know he signed with a JUCO, I want to say Itawamba.

He throws in the low 90's, but he played at a 1A school, Ingomar. He needs a lot of coaching.

I'll say this, Larry Beinfest is very good at identifying high school pitchers, getting them into the organization and letting them develop. If the Marlins used a 7th round pick on him he must have the potential to be very good.

The Marlins love him. Their scout sad he is raw but he has all the ingredients, and I know how to bake the cake. They scouted him several games. He has hired an agent. I will be surprised though if he is grown up enough to take the licks of pro ball. He is a big *****.</p>

Yea, from what I've heard he's a mental midget. I'm pretty sure he didn't graduate, maybe a reason we did not go after him much (poor grades = wasn't getting in anyway)...
