When they finally settled on where DeChambeau's drop would be and he looked his downhill lay over a little bit then just walked up and ripped it that raised my eyebrows. Very confident in his swing and he just stepped up and ripped it like it was a practice round.
Did you hear Nantz comment about where DeChambeau's ball landed? "All my years doing this and I've never seen that building?" :scream:[roll]

I really hate Spieth. I don't know if it's his slow play or if he reminds me of tiger, always hated tiger. Always hated European players but find mind self rooting for them. I'll take the china man or smiley or anybody. Can't figure it out but I really hate this Jordan kid.

Dude, Asian-American is the accepted nomenclature.

I'm probably a little bitter, since I've been a Phil guy for twenty years now. Spieth just bores me, the slow play is a real problem for me.

Love nearly everything about Spieths game... except that he is sloooooow. Can't stand influential players being slow.

Well, Bubba was being a dick again today. Good burn from fan tho.

After slicing his drive into the woods on No. 10, Watson asked a patron to give him some room.

“Can you back up, you’re really not supposed to be back here,” he said.

“Neither is your ball,” the fan said.

“I don’t know about you, but I have two Green Jackets,” said Watson, before his pitched back into the fairway. “Thanks for coming.”

Not sure Bubba was the dick there. If he was in Bubba's way then what did Bubba do wrong?

He can be a jerk but I'm sure there are better examples than this one.

Well typical Bubba to say, "you're not really supposed to be back here." Just that little pick is what makes him insufferable.

Spieth, Furyk, JB are all slow as balls and I still love those dudes. It was just really bad today with Spieth. I guess because of the wind. Na takes the cake though.

How can you hate Spieth? That's really weird.

I love Spieth. His routine reminds me of a baseball player at bat. The way he steps in and out of the box, rubs his hands, his clubs... seriously, watch him. Looks like he's at bat. Got that little knee hitch that gets his swing started, too. He's like watching Joe Morgan. He has to go through the whole routine then reset it a couple times while spitting sunflower seeds all over the course..

All he needed to say was please back up.

You're not supposed to be back here makes him seem like he's some kind of official.

And he is. An official prick.

I never disagreed he isn't a jerk because he is. But sometimes being a jerk colors people perceptions of everything you do. And that is on Bubba, but just not convinced he was being a prick here.

Bubba was +3 for the day, with another bogey coming on this hole, +9 for the week at this moment, had just hit a horrendous cut in the woods, think I'll give him the benefit of the doubt over the patron here. He's earned it.

I'm pulling for Spieth but feel he let too many players back in it at 17 and 18 yesterday. Shoulda played that 3 wood, instead of driver, and settled for safe pars.

Lots of firepower close to him now, and the traditional Masters Sunday pin placements should make for some low scores. I think Jason Day might get hot. Or Dustin Johnson...

Holmes with the assist on the ace. Nice.

Spieth on a different level right now, playing a different game.

Spieth should pull his driver out on the next tee and gift it to a patron standing in the second cut next to the shrubs.

I think the reason I don't like Spieth, its because he doesn't have a personality. No character or anything. He reminds me of old golf, where you show little emotions and every interview is the same.

^ that's just false and stupid. He has an animated, candid, funny, and quirky personality, it's just not controversial. In fact, it's almost kind of annoying how animated he is.

You may not LIKE his personality, but he definitely has one.
