That's not the point. Point is they could easily gouge patrons like everyone else does but they choose not to.

Not really crazy at all, that’s only 7 percent growth. Above historical inflation but below historical stock returns.Insane that Tiger only won $486,000 in 1997. This year's winner earns 2.7 million, which was the entire purse from '97.
Sadly true. Dude looks like a skeleton now and seems like he's aged 30 years over the last year.I had not seen Phil M since he lost a ton of weight, personally, I think he does not look well, and his game is awful. Sounds like he was not himself last night as well. My guess is that he has had some second thoughts about the LIV deal, Golf Channel last night was wearing him out, saying they could understand some other guys taking the money, but Phil already had it all, would have been a natural choice on TV, eventual Masters starter, and celebrated as one of the game's great champions. Now, what will be his legacy, especially if LIV goes down the tubes (which I fully expect to happen)?
Phil ran into money and legal problems so he might not have been doing as good as some people think. He may have gotten mixed up with the kind of guys that break your legs over gambling debts so who knows. From what I gather Phil almost went to jail and may have a serious gambling problem.Sadly true. Dude looks like a skeleton now and seems like he's aged 30 years over the last year.
