He'd been struggling a bit since his return, so that was nice to see. He had two RBI and couple of nice defensive plays as well.

he beat out two infield hits and RBIs on both. One between pitcher and 1B and pitcher could not beat him to the bag. The announcers kept saying you can;t get this guy out. They remember he went .500 in their last series in TB.
I love that The Mayor moniker stuck. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall it starting as The Mayor of Oxford for we, and he, always beat them.
That's pure baseball. Nice to see slap hitters getting some pub.
How cool and almost surreal must that be to keep at it all these years and finally find yourself starring at the Green Monster at bat and then standing on first base in Fenway Park?
