I sure hope we sign CJ and Whitehead. They would be great additions to our program. The preponderance of evidence doesn't look good. I think OM will get their "Mississippi HR." That would be disappointing but in the long run is only a small piece in the puzzle. Lost in all this is the fact that we are gonna to beat the piss out of them again this year. I look at what they've got coming back and what we've got coming back. I just don't see it for them. They will be lucky to get CJ because, as he said after the Egg Bowl, their defense is terrible. Getting a couple of standout defensive recruits ain't gonna make a difference in the short run (which is a paraphrase of CJ's post-Egg Bowl comments).<div>
</div><div>I think the Mississippi HR happens. </div><div>And I don't even care anymore. Signing day can't get here soon enough. Then it will be settled and we get back to the fact that we are building something special with or without 2 or 3 particular recruits.</div><div>
</div><div>Looking at this from the OM side, Brassell won't qualify. Deferred benefit for them at best. Singleton is a great WR prospect. But OM gets these kind every year. Remember Pat Pat? I don't think OM was a big play WR away this year. CJ and Whitehead will help OM shore up weaknesses on defense, but after all they are but two players.</div><div>
</div><div>Now I"m done with my homerish rant. Ready for baseball season to get here!</div>
