...the more mind boggling it is that Croom will probably be back next year. I don't care what he did last year, there is absolutely no reason Byrne should bring him back

money (cash flow or lack of) will get Croom. I`m emailing the Bulldog club this week and telling them to not waste their time calling me about season tickets this coming year if Croom`s back on 09. If enough people simply do this and mean it he`ll be gone.

who say we can't buyout Croom's contract. We stand to lose just as much by bringing him back. Did anyone see the mass exodus at halftime of the Middle Tenn St game? Or the maybe 40K that showed up for Kentucky when we still had a prayer? Or the maybe 40K that will show up for Arkansas? And people who aren't there don't buy concessions and they don't pay to park and they damn sure won't be back next year with this broken record. And I also imagine the Bulldog Club will take a hit.

I figure when all is said and done, it's a financial draw between firing and keeping.

I would wager that we stand to lose more money if we keep him. It makes financial sense to fire him. If we keep him around, we are saving what? 1.5-1.7 million dollars? I would bet that we easily make that on one gameday.

I agree 100% what you said. Lets also look at the fact that if we go out and make a great hire, whose to say that we don't make that money up in less than a year. What if we got Graham, or Kelly, or even Peterson. We could also hire Hatcher for less money or Mullen the OC at UF. Everyone wants to think that we cannot afford to buy him out, hell we may make money on the deal.

why more people don't do the same is beyond me. I simply said I'll never buy a ticket or attend a game while Croom is the coach. Period.
