thing about our football team is not necessarily this year, although it certainly is troubling, it is the hope and anticipation for next year and the years after. That lack of hope is what will destroy our program and there certainly is no hope as long as Croom is our head coach. This is what Byrne had better understand and understand soon.

coming into this year after last season. I think we all thought that they were working twice as hard to do even better, & it appears they may have worked less. Coming out in this season & performing was critical for Croom, & he didn't do it, sacrificing the good will of the fan base, & probably making recruits go "what was I thinking considering this ****?"

This season would have been a defining moment in Crooms career, but he shat it away 4 games into the season like an El Potrillo burrito on Friday night.

Did you ever notice how easy it is to lose?

"Perchance he for whom this bell tolls may be so ill,
as that he knows not it tolls for him;
and perchance I may think myself so much better than I am,
as that they who are about me, and see my state,
may have caused it to toll for me,
and..I know not that."

Actually if you look at it, we should be pretty solid next year. Assuming we hold on the JC recruits and maybe add one or two more. We loose Bowman and Bailey on The DL, Linebackers should be soild with the addtion on White and Chaney coming back. We loose O'Quinn but we get AJ back. OL should return and if the Ramsey rumors are true we have a chance to be solid on the OL. The loss that hurts is the safty postion, but Smith and Mitchell should be ok. HUGE question mark at Fullback and QB.

We should be solid right now and solid for years to come. We have the players. But we wont be good if we continue to leave our team in the hands of Crxxm.

.....totally inconsequential. If we suck now, chances are really good we'll suck next year too. and we do lose some key players no matter how anyone wants to spin it. I still believe that 2007 was a total fluke. And in typical "MSU-luck" fashion, it was enough for us to be put into a position where it'll be politically tough to fire our incompetent coaching staff.
