sports league masquerading as a social warrior forum...but it is killing the college game. All the kids who get more than two points and one rebound think yhey are NBA bound. No loyalty to school...coaches...or team. A mediocre WVU team now has three declaring with McBride being the latest. Yeah...could come back but not until they a list of me first things to work on. Screw their tesm...coach snd school. When will colleges learn and dump the fake scholarship system and let real student athletes play. Most of the wannabes can head back to their neighborhood playgrounds and swagger around for street cred. Why does anyone really care anymore?

Not sure I agree with you road, I think someone advising a player that they need to work on a part of their game to become a better player is not always a negative to their team. Now telling a big they need to be able to make threes to be an NBA pro and they start raining threes then I agree. The other thing is what they are being told and what they hear might be completely different.

Actually going to class....getting a meaningful degree..just might give them a future outside of the old neighborhood...something Dickhead and Fauxfan couldn't grasp in the Walmart stock room.

Most of us don't know what you are crying about half the time Without pro sports why would people put the time and effort to get better.

Lol...so in your never-played-a-sport mind the ONLY reason to participate in sports is to become a pro athlete? Wow...what tiny bit of cred you had is gone. Too funny.

College sports is changing in a lot of ways, and its going to push some fans away. Same with NBA and MLB. The new woke culture, the transfer rules, potentially paying college players, etc. It will all backfire when fans get tired of it. What happened to school and team spirit? Its getting lost in the mix. It wont bode well for them, imo. I see more empty seats and less TV ratings building every year until they find a way to bring back more honor in the game. The best lessons spots give youngsters is the teamwork, school spirit, etc. When thats gone its just a money machine.
