...as Goldman Sachs was never, and never will be, under any regulatory boards, same with the NCAA.

The NCAA will always be devious & corrupt as long as they don't have to answer to something or somebody appointed to police their activities.

You know, just like Goldman Sachs.

Obviously the whole AAU system stinks and college basketball recruiting is filthy dirty, yet the NCAA decides to single out certain people and punish them. The NCAA either needs to get serious and clean up college basketball recruiting (yes, that will mean getting after the big programs too) or they need to quit acting so high and mighty and going after people like Sidney. Obviously some wrong things went down with Sidney, but he isn't the only one.

...that the NCAA has it right in this case? I mean, I know everyone wants Sidney in. But there is definitely baggage. And you can't call them hypocrites because every situation is different, and are surrounded by different circumstances. If the NCAA was clear about what they needed from the family, and the family didn't provide it, why is this the fault of the NCAA?

And everyone on here, to a man, would be on the NCAA's side if Sidney was trying to get into Alabama or Ole Miss. That's the hypocritical side of the story.

By the way, even if Sidney were to get cleared, that would've absolve anyone if shenanigans turned out to have occurred. The NCAA cleared Derrick Rose at Memphis, and then put Memphis on probation and forfeited all their wins for playing with an ineligible player.

After the NCAA's Johanningmeier-led witch hunt of Sherrill and our football program, I don't really give a 17 what Reebok did with Sidney. They cleared John Wall to play for a basketball coach who has cheated at both UMass and Memphis. But yeah, go ahead and take the NCAA's side, they always make the fair and just decisions.

...you bring up Wall (completely different case with completely different circumstances) and Johanningmeier (completely different case with completely different circumstances in a completely different sport). I'm not taking anyone's side...I'm asking our fans to stop acting like a bunch of retards.
