We've got some good wins on our resume against teams in the tournament, but we playedpoorly in conference and lost to some teams that are way out of the NCAA Tournament discussion.
On one hand, you can look at the 2 point loss to Baylor, the win @Vandy, the win against WV, the win against Bama, and the 1st half against Kentucky and say this is a team that has the potential to make it to the Sweet 16 or further. Then you look at losses to Auburn, 2 times to UGA, and @LSU and scratch your head wondering if that's the same team.
We are the definition of a bubble team and at this point it's tough to decide what to do with us. If the tournament wasn't expanded to 68 teams this wouldn't even be an issue and we would be a 1 seed in the NIT. But at this pointyou just wonder if we got inthe tournament what we might could do if we played like we did against Vandy or like we did in the 1st half against Kentucky.
