Yeah I drove past Phu Bai a few times. There were more graves than I have ever seen. I thought we would never get past them. Small white crosses as far as the eye could see. They called it the valley of the dead. People don't realize how long the Vietnamese people were at war.Bernie, thanks for sharing that anecdote about the road of no joy past the French soldiers' graveyard where people saw ghosts. That's interesting for sure. I believe there is video easily findable of the Highway of Death out of Kuwait in February, 1991. I won't describe it here, but driving it was shocking and stays with me to this day.
Big win for the Cats last night. I'm just going to enjoy them as they happen. It was fun to see a "reverse Laettner" unfold. Degree of difficulty might have been greater - LSU guarded the inbound and the guy guarding Moreno was loger than Feldhaus or Pelphrey.
This Kentucky team isn't very good, and I doubt the ceiling is much higher than we've seen already. Better teams are probably going to not have much trouble with the Cats. But we can still celebrate a little magic.
Hope you all have a great day.
Really sorry about your wife Austin, you and your wife are in my prayers.Good morning from ATX.
Glad Cats won. Watched first half.
Took wife again to ER last night during 2nd half. Staff ran CT scan and took X-rays. She complained about constant pain. Tests revealed cancer apparently spread to other areas.
Must still visit FL for a mandatory real-estate transaction. Visiting 17-24 Jan. She has a friend who will stay with her while we line up more chemo and other treatments. I will probably cancel trips to Marfa and Salado scheduled for next month and March.
Y'all have a good one.

I punched the wall when Oweh missed that second FT. It was a tough night until it wasn’t.I would prefer to win by 24. Much easier on me.

Answers a question from 34 years ago doesn’t it.How the hell dis the LSU front man not get a hand on that pass?![]()
I'm not sure what the question is but I think it was from 34 years ago. Dang, hard to believe.Answers a question from 24 years ago doesn’t it.
Yes 34 years. The question is would it mattered if Pitino would have UK guard the inbound pass. For the LSU game from last night, no it didn’t. .I'm not sure what the question is but I think it was from 34 years ago. Dang, hard to believe.
So sorry to hear this.Good morning from ATX.
