Good Sunday morning everyone.

Man, this team is sure hard to figure out. I wonder what causes them to lay a big goose egg every 5 games or so? But, we'll take it.

@MdWIldcat55 Is your Dad still able to enjoy the games?

Another day stuck up here on the mountain....too cold to do any good plowing. We hope to make it out Tues. or Wednesday.

Goooood Morning D-Legionnaires!

14° this morning with light winds making the wind chill 6°. Monster walk coming in about 15 minutes.

Yeah, great game last night. Announcers said something about UK being 31-1 under Pope when leading at the half. Great record and good news if we could ever correct the slow start problem. They also said we have the toughest schedule in the country with the remaining games. :unsure:

Slow day today with sports so...

You folks sit back and relax and try to enjoy the day.

God Bless and prayers for those with sickness and medical issues.

Good mor... afternoon all,

So very cold here. (Hope MdW has good roads and no issues.) (Took that drive multiple times, it can get tricky when including the other drivers... on that stretch of road. It is a pretty drive though...).

The BB stayed over last night, My Darling went to the early service as she sings in the chior and the only time she misses are times like last Sunday when services were cancelled.

So icy cold she let the BB and I sleep in and we did.....

It is my grand daughters birthday today. We are still going out in this cold..shortly. (I wish)...

Just in time for the 50th anniversary of sweeping the Yankees for back-to-back World Championships in 75-76. Back-to-Back-to-Back starting this April? Not ready to predict that yet, but more excited than I've been in a while...(Honestly, any positive news is enough to get a Reds fan excited. And I've been one since Vada Pinson and Frank Robinson were rocking the sleeveless jumpers with the long red sleeves underneath, with the white crowned - red billed caps...)

Good morning folks.

Well, not so much for me. I got back from Kentucky completely exhausted from two nights of no sleep, fell into a deep, deep coma once I got in my own bed —then was awakened at 335 am by a very loud snowplow on our street. The weird part is our street was plowed five days ago and there had been no more snow. This was either some bureaucratic screwup or more likely some crew chief giving his guys one more big night of overtime pay. The guy scraped the road surface for what seemed like 40 minutes. By then I was wide awake and couldn’t get back to sleep.

Back to work now. Lots to go to catch up. I hope you all have a good day.

I passed by that joint every day for a long while. Had I the gumption I may have tried.

With three children, six grand children and My Darling even though a full time job isn't in the equasion now and we all have the same 24 hours in a day and I normally never use this phrase but... I just "do not have time."

They be needing their Dad, Papa, and Husband....... I AM Thankful!!!

Taking one grandson and grand daughter to an arcade type place shortly. My grand daughters birthday was yesterday. They are wired up and "Ama" needs a break so it's just me and "them"....

They are both six now for a couple months until my grandson turns 7. Been six-sevening them lately, almost as much as they have... ;)

May have to jack their jaws a time or two too....

That's only because he's white. I named him Alfred. Psssssssst, don't tell nobody but he is a staunch conservative and a cold hearted bastige.

He won't be around much longer. Temps in the 50's and 60's the rest of this week.

Went onto full work mode at; Round One and Chuck E Cheese.... About two and a half hours and as my Dad used to say when he was about half lit; "I feel like everybody's worked." Them babies kept me seriously hopping and no, not on a trampoline... Papa's Babies...:love::love::love::love::love::love::love:

Uh, both my daughters have skilled jobs and I am thankful but this ice put a lot on me and their Mom. I love my babies and am NOT complaining... Saturday I am supposedly taking my grand daughter to a "Grand-Father" Grand daughter dance. My grandson has a dance at his school Saturday, his Mom is going to that one.

I bought My Darling a suite of tickets to a Spa in Centreville, VA She really liked it. Thought I'd be taking her and her friend tomorrow and I am but I will be seriously hopping back and forth taking my two grandchildren to school and my Darling and her friend to the Spa. Wearing a brudder out but in my best John Wayne voice....

38° this morning with 15-20mph winds making it colder of course. Another 60 plus degree day on tap. Friday is supposed to be in the 70's. Below is Alfred 28 Jan and 2 Feb. Not sure he'll make it to Friday.

It is still slick up here on the mountain. So slick, that I shoveled snow down my steep driveway before I try it with the SxS today. Hopefully today will make a dent in the snow/ice. The mountain shade really makes a huge negative difference in the thawing process.

Wow, it's already Feb. 3rd. I'm sure glad we don't hear about the February Slump anymore pertaining to the basketball team We are in an upswing during this up and down season. 6-1 and a win at Arkansas is acceptable. Now let's get back into the top 25 this week.

When I was working for Dawson Bridge Co back in the early 70's, they wanted me to go with them to the mountains for their next project, one of the guys told me that the sun came up at 11:50 and set at 12:10!

Man Sir, the doggone birds have been flocking to our back patio. It is covered and My Darling has a nice garden out back near the patio (A winter garden now that's whithered but accessible.) and the birds NEED the seeds and whatever they are getting off My Darlings plants badly now with all this ice covered snow. They be seriously attending our patio... I'd almost swear I thought one of those birds cussed me when I went out back and they all had to fly away. I KNOW one of them spit at me. Hocked a lugee that just missed me. (I remember he/she/it though...)

It's Hump Game Day! Any game day these days make me nervous. Nuff said.

Will update Alfred's situation tonight. It might rain today and if it does, he is gone. Yesterday he lost a lot of weight. 60 plus degree will do that to a snowman.

You worker bees get out and attack that hill. The rest of us will hold down the fort until the evening.

For those hurting and going through hard times, my prayers have been sent, and for all God bless and try to enjoy the day.

For KFugua: GET OFF MY LAWN! (Just showing you how it's done)

Good morning folks. Big chance for the Cats to build some momentum tonight.

Another busy work day. Not much else happening this week - still huge piles of snow everywhere. IT has warmed up a bit in the east, but stil below freezing. Hope you all are staying warm.
