Haha, I’ve been vocal about covid in other threads about how it affected our season, team, Duke as a hole etc. I stick to talking about covid. Won’t be “sucked into” the political back and forth though, will leave that to the professionals here.
For me the deciding factor on getting the vaccine depends on whether places I like to vacation at require the vaccination to go there.Even if they do don’t know if I will take it.I can see no reason to get a vaccination for a virus with such a high survival rate.This does not me anti science because just got the vaccination for the prevention of shingles

It may have a high survival rate for you but it can be deadly for people who are immune compromised, can’t get the vaccine and count on herd immunity. But really, don’t worry about them. they are likely all libs anyway.
Honestly (and I get it, it may be selfish becuase I could infect somebody that could have an immune system whatever problem and kill them) (which I pray doesn’t happen) I keep my hands clean and keep a distance from people on the norm but I’m not getting vaccinated. I’m playing the long game. If boocoo of the world gets vaccinated and boocoo of the world has already had the ****..how can I catch it lol. And if I do, I’m healthy as hell and I’ll go through the protocol and stay at home. Why introduce that bs to my system if 90% of the worlds either had it or vaccinated. That’s my train of thought about it . But again I get it, it’s not necessarily about just me buttt…yea
Sorta. But the way I see it is if you think you’re at risk don’t put yourself at risk. BE EVEN MORE CAREFUL. And ….you shoulda already been vaccinated right? Lol

I mean if I want to get nasty about it I could say why In the hell should I have to introduce a virus to my system (that has risk of all kinds ****) to my system with the same risk of dying from it (.1%) as the risks of introducing it and take that chance when I don’t have to to protect the people who havnt got vaccinated that have immune system issues…..
I mean pretty much everybody who thinks their at risk by now should be vaccinated by now right….sooo sorry if I infect you when you didn’t get vaccinated either! And kill you if I really want get nasty…I cringe when I said that cause I know there’s possibilities of other deaths… pray

I believe I explained that not everyone can get vaccinated. the more people who could but don’t keeps the virus alive and leaves open the possibility of variants that could be resistant to the vaccine. IFaze, you may think that getting the virus is not a big deal but how do you know for sure. You could be oneof the ones who ends up in a hospital on a respirator or you could give it to your wife and child and they could become seriously ill. You guys don’t appreciate me. No problem. I feel the same about you.
I am just thankful that I have a strong enough mind to not get sucked into the permanent state of fear that the fake news media has instilled into the weak minded sheep in this country. Covid has exposed the terrifying numbers of these people.

True. In my mind though I could end up in the hospital by catching it or introducing it to my system. I’ll take my chances of not catching it and weigh the same risk

If those rightwing non news blogs would start reporting accurately, maybe those of you who are acting completely irrationally would finally get in tune with reality and get the damn shot. Even Trump and his family were vaccinated and he is the leader supreme of anti-science.
I don’t care what your opinion is on those not getting the shot, but I haven’t had it yet, nor do I have any plans to. If you did, that’s your choice. But don’t sit there in your perch and say how someone’s acting just because they haven’t.

These people are sick. It's always about what everyone else is doing, they don't hold themselves or their team accountable for anything. They spend too much time worrying about what the other side is doing and no time on talking about what they can do to improve themselves.
The violent crime has increased to early 1990's levels. They don't care, orange man gone. Fentanyl has come across the border at an 800% increase since China Joe took office. They don't care, orange man gone. Children are in cages and trespassing aliens are being spread across the country in the dark of night being held in hotels on our dime. They don't care, orange man gone. China and Russia are bigger threats now than at any point in the previous four years and we're kissing up to both of them. They don't care, orange man gone. We are giving millions of dollars to terrorists. They don't care. We have an employment crisis causing businesses to cut back hours, supply chains to be crippled and prices on everyday products to increase substantially. They don't care. We are over 50% vaccinated and cases are dropping substantially, variants are much weaker and long term immunity has been proven for the people who have had at least mild cases of covid and we're still allowing people to use their fear of covid to justify not going back to work and stay on the government's tit. They don't care.
Things are going great, though. Our president doesn't tweet mean things and we're all conscious of other people's feelings now.
