He is on tape saying that out of his own mouth saying he went there.Have those videos been tampered with?

According to the Delaware State contact, the entire video Biden referenced his connection to Delaware State through the years, talked about the support he received from the school and speaking engagements, including commencement addresses, at the school.

I have not seen the video in question, only quoting the source who was contacted asking if Biden attended DSU.

Why not just call out white supremacist and Nazis right there? That’s was a softball question and he swung through it.
I agree that he wasted an opportunity to simply call out white supremacy. But why did he ask Trump to call out the right's extremists but not ask Biden to call out the left's extremists? Also, why did he bring up Kenosha as an example? How was that a case of white supremacy? Fvcking stupid.

Probably because Trump has referred to white supremacist as “very fine people” in the past. In the meantime, Biden repeated that violence was not acceptable over and over. I mean dude...

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Joe Biden, but I do think he seems like a decent human being. I respect the stories of him raising his sons while working in Congress. I expressed a couple posts up why I feel he's the nominee. Truthfully, I hate the fact him being labeled as "safe," candidate was nothing more than code for old, centrist white guy.

The racial stuff doesn't bother me because it can't. If I held beef with every old white person who held borderline or worse racist beliefs in fifty years ago I wouldn't speak to anybody over the age of about 35. It's about who those people become through experience, exposure and education.

My beef with Trump (among many, but I'm sticking to this topic) is he IS still a racist. He based much of his 2016 campaign around the villianization of Hispanics and used scare tactics to connect with a lot of white voters. He refused to disavow support from David Duke and claimed not know what the Klan was (Really, how hard it would have been to say there was no room on the Trump train for those kinds of supporters). He continues to use verbiage and talking points straight out the pre- Civil Rights era (siccing dogs on people, coming for our heritage, southern White House, good people on both sides, etc.). His constant references to his Black critics as dumb (check for it, everyone else gets personalized insults, Blacks get they're stupid. Even Ben Carson got the same treatment in 2016). I have more but I'm honestly getting tired of rehashing it.

Finally, I don't normally post links, but I'm sure no one here (from either side) will go off about the source.

I'd never heard the HBCU comment but I trust the source used for the above article.

What, do you think that, when he warned housewives that the poors were invading their suburbs and were being led by Cory Booker, he picked Cory Booker for a reason other than that he was black? Come on now;)

So I’m only half keeping up on twitter... was Trump not denouncing white supremacy, and Biden sitting there staring at him waiting for it, as awkward in real time as it is in clip form? Because that seems like the very definition of a softball.

All murders matter to me. But is that really a road you want to travel? And Keep leaving out the context behind the both sides statement. That's what you guys do.

Trump pissed away the opportunity to let Biden eat his own words by continually interrupting him. Would have benefited more by letting him talk. But Trump can't resist himself. Also, if it were Trump that called Biden names like, clown and idiot like Biden called him, I'd bet it would be a bigger story. Where Trump did better than I would ever give him credit for is not resorting to name-calling.

I give this debate a rating of.... Two losers. It literally changed no one's vote.

I mean realistically, Trump is a clown and an idiot. I think he proved that in this debate with his actions. I admit that I’m biased but I don’t think the average voter could watch that and say that he didn’t act like a petulant child. Saying that Trump calling people names would make bigger news is moronic, it’s literally his thing man and it’s baked in at this point. He does it all the time! LOL

Call me biased, Biden clearly presented himself better than Trump did. I don’t think a reasonable person can slice it any other way.

I am strongly in support of cutting the mics when they don’t have speaking privileges in future debates.

Oh, I guess we have the take away moment from this one, where The President not only doesn’t give a simple answer of “Why of course I condemn white supremacy, Chris,“ but instead tells them to stand by. Annnddd... they heard him.

Do folks think this might be the only debate?

Proud boys have made the news a few times in Portland. You know, where it has been widely reported by the left as a small example of rioting and unrest and an outlier of a mostly peaceful and spontaneous protest. Where else? Antifa is in every major city and inserts themselves in every city or town that has the opportunity to see unrest. But yeah, you guys are right. No reason for Joe to condemn Antifa. In fact, he just says that they are only an idea. Haha. Trump should have said that proud boys are only an idea. He'd be closer to being right.

I think Steph summed it up nicely there. It’s obvious who Donald Trump favors and supports.

Stop making excuses for him. He was given a golden opportunity to put that garbage to rest and he point blank refused to do it. Again....

Its not a coincidence at this point guys.

I’m biased, but Trump won. He was what he’s always been...BEFORE HE WON 4 years ago.... What you expect! Biden just looked like slow Joe to me. The simpleness of his memorized answers to the questions and fakeness just spewed in my eyes. He doesn’t speak with confidence. Does he actually believe his own ****? Joe can’t think past go. Maybe he needs to fire who was speaking in his ear idkkk lmao

Agree think Trump let his emotions about four years of continuous harassment get the better of him tonight

Uh, this is exactly how he has behaved every single time he has been in an environment that is not 100 percent pro him, like Fox and Friends and his rallies, for years. Debates, interviews, town halls... they are all like this. This wasn’t different or new, outside maybe of him maybe really understanding how far behind he is.

You are so full of crap. The sad thing is that someone like you has the opportunity to influence kids

Whoa. Glad you aren’t getting nasty and personal or anything?

Hey, you might not know this, but there is a reason Trump doesn’t generally do town halls or speeches in front of anyone but ”home crowds” or do non-Fox or OANN tv or anything... he doesn’t do well when he is challenged. Surely you know this? Surely you’ve seen example after example of him getting contentious and aggravated and aggressive? It’s... sort of his thing. Didn’t you see the two town halls just a few weeks ago?

If you can’t see that the media and every talk show has been after him since he was elected, you’re either blind or stupid.

Likewise if you cant see there is a valid reason for it, and that he has behaved the same way for years when he gets challenged.

Last night may have seen some frustration of him realizing he is losing, but it wasn’t because a Fox News host was being mean to him.

Biden was a doddering geriatric, Trump was a bombastic fool...neither needs to be our president but thats the choice. Dont pick the man, pick the policies you think are good for you and the country.

Thats an interesting approach, but literally we are doing exactly that; picking the man:)

It could be argued that they both did exactly how they were expected to do. Which would mean that neither did well.

Trump was rude, bombastic, and behaved like a petulant child throughout the debate. Biden struggled to find his footing at times, his start was shaky as hell. I did think he recovered after that and had a few decent moments. At least Biden showed empathy at times. Trump's rhetoric on the national stage last night did him no favors. I find it comical listening to Trump apologists today. His performance was the worst I have seen from a sitting president in a debate. On the other side of that, Biden apologists have to be worried about the way he came off last night. He looked lost at the beginning. By the time he somewhat found his footing it, (if you want to call it that), had become the "Chris Wallace has to berate Trump for interrupting" debate. I've just never seen anything like it.
