The only opportunities guaranteed are to people whose parents are well off. That's it. Not saying it's impossible for others without that to be successful, but a lot has to break your way if you don't start with that leg up. I think democracy is mostly fine. I would love to see the electoral college gone however as it has far outlived its usefulness.
That is nonsense that hard work will not make successful. You do not have to have well off parents to succeed.I pray that many people do not have your view of life because this country will not survive if they do

How about the night drops of ballots in Philadelphia.Did not say it happened in all instances but just in certain ci where Joe was behind

Initially, you said 100 percent for Biden in many cases. Philadelphia apparently has been coming in at about 80 percent for Biden in terms of mail-in ballots. Considering Hillary Clinton won Philadelphia with 67 percent of the vote in 2016 and we've already established that Trump supporters were far more likely to vote in person, I'm not sure why you would find it suspicious that Biden would score 80 percent of mail-in votes.

People are entitled to a decent existence on this planet. Part time job? How are you living off of that? Or are you retired and you just do it because you want to?
Retired at 52 and feel like I should work since I'm physically able. I still shouldn't have to take care of the ones who don't want to work. I'll help anyone out that I think needs it.

Most people want to work though. Hell most do but some still can't afford decent insurance because it doesn't pay enough. So in your mind anyone you feel worthy of your help gets it but not those who aren't worthy? ****** mindset man.

Sorry I had to sleep sometime. Anyway, as for the biggest issue facing our world, climate change, we need to begin to shift away from non-renewable sources of energy such as coal, oil and natural gases. These energies and the means of producing them harm our planet. Before long we will the point of no return and doom future generations, our children. I understand many are resistant, some flat out denying climate change exists and others expressing concerns about what happens to the workers in the energy sector. The Green New Deal would ease the transition by providing training in this new industry, while of course adding in jobs to make it happen.

If you'd like to read more and a much better breakdown than I could ever hope provide, read this. https://www.researchgate.net/public...nited_States_What_it_is_and_how_to_pay_for_it

As for guns, while I wouldn't be opposed to an outright ban, I think the smarter move is to ban pistols and assault rifles and ban any weapons from being anywhere that isn't your home or the shooting range. I get that people always argue the 2nd amendment but, when that was amended people only had access to rifles that took a minute to load between each shot and ammunition was far more scarce.

Who pays for healthcare for all? The ultra rich. Bezos has seen his wealth balloon by $80 billion during this pandemic. No sir, you're giving that back to the people who have made you obscenely rich. I have no issue with having a rich, and middle class, I do take issue and the size of the wealth disparity. Time to cut that and improve the the lives of everyone. Hell, it's not like they'll really notice anyway, their quality of life will not dip, just a few less zeroes in their bank accounts.
Where those single shot weapons state of the art then. The second amendment was designed to have citizens being able to protect themselves from the Government. The first step in the suppression of citizens is to disarm them

My father couldn't pay for me to go to college. I worked my tail off and earned an athletic scholarship. It was that or join the military. The great thing about America is you can achieve as much as you want if you're willing to work for it. Unfortunately many like Shatterthesky22 don't feel this way and want to blame the hand they've been dealt. With Socialism, the American Dream will die and the rich and big government will stay wealthy and everyone else will be the same (poor).

I don't believe in banning guns but can somebody explain to me how the possession of a guns is supposed to protect a citizen from the overreach of a government that has the world's most powerful military at it's disposal?

Oh so you think I should just give my hard earned money to everyone? Where in the world did you develop your philosophy? You think big government is best and will take care of everyone. You're in for a rude awakening and so is everyone that is for Socialism.

Over 50% of Americans own a gun, and we pay for that military. They think twice on using “the military lol”

It’s said to be the reason Japan in 1941 didn’t come inland to attack us. They knew the citizens of America had guns.

It’s said to be the reason Japan in 1941 _didn’t come inland to attack us. They knew the citizens of America had guns.

That was said by a NRA-funded politician in 2012 and then posted and circulated on Facebook in 2019 (which is most likely where you read it).

It's also said by historians and World War II experts to be completely unfounded and/or untrue.

A much more believable reason would be the logistics of moving Japanese ground forces to U.S. shores and preparing to invade.

I suppose the Japanese Imperial Army could have been deterred from bombing the continental United States out of a fear that folks were going to shoot planes out of the sky with rifles.

I think that last part is a joke but, to kind of address all of this, we are talking about the Japanese pilots from WW2 correct? The same pilots who were all too damn happy to intentionally crash their planes into Americans? There's absolutely no way they were scared of US citizens.

What conservatives are calling for violence? Most Republicans think when massive amounts of mail in ballots are found in the middle that are 100 percent for one candidate it doesn’t seem realistic. We want the court to review this and if we lose we lose.I don’t think we will be in the streets destroying build if we lose. That is the MO of liberals
That meme was calling for war. I am not saying that conservatives are. Just calling out a ****** meme.

Scenario A: Ipsy has guns in his house
Scenario B: Shatter the flower doesn’t.

Which house is the criminal going to invade, knowing who’s armed?

Does the criminal breaking into Ipsy or Shatter's house pull up in a tank with bomber planes flying out in front? If so, I'm pretty sure the criminal isn't particularly concerned about Ipsy's arsenal.

Serious question, do you think it is more likely that the Japanese didn't invade the mainland U.S. on the ground because they were scared of armed citizens than it was being due to the logistics of transporting and mobilizing their ground troops onto the coast to invade, an invasion that the U.S. military would have likely been prepared for due to Intelligence and to the sheer length of time it would have taken to transport ground troops?

While I don't think it is what he meant, Donald Trump Jr did encourage his father on Twitter to go to, "Total War," about this election.

The problem with his comments is that it has already been shown that a crew of fanatics began plotting to kidnap Governor Whitmer following Trump's "LIBERATE MICHIGAN!" tweet. For the son of the President to issue such a statement on Twitter is reckless, regardless if he literally meant what he typed.

All I can tell you is with my guns is I’m not going down without a fight!...And there will be casualties. I might go down, but I’m taking people with me! Every other gun owner thinks that way. It’s a show of force. No we can’t win, but it’s enough show of force and risk that the govt won’t take....*libturds

The point you made was Japan didn't invade inland following Pearl Harbor was because they knew U.S. citizens would be armed.

You said, "it has been said." I then told you where it was said (you didn't dispute my statement) and that those comments were refuted by historians. You then pivoted and created an analogy to a criminal breaking into Ipsy's house, all the while calling people girls and telling them they're being obtuse.
