The yahoo article about the violence that broke out leaves out some very important info. No surprise. Supposedly, some Antifa (thugs) tried to possibly cause a little trouble earlier in the day, but were run off. Then, when it was dark, trouble started. They waited til then to come back out and cause trouble.
The Trump protest had wound down, and was peaceful all day. On one corner, there was a group harassing the now individuals walking by. The name of the area where the trouble occurred?
Black Lives Matter Plaza. The horrible media doesn’t know the truth, and doesn’t care about reporting it.

Trump is right. These cowards called mayors and governors are gutless excuses for leaders. Why haven’t they done anything about the riots, burning, and looting? They would be scolding their base, that’s why. They don’t want to lose their vote. Pretty disgraceful.
The trouble that started when it was dark was because when the Trumpites went to the Black Lives Matter Plaza they started pulling down black lives matter signs and stomping on them. Should that have led to a violent response? Probably not but 1) it is a bit hypocritical to call the anti-Trumpites out for overreacting when that has been the calling card for the Trumpites for the last four years and 2) this was clear provocation on their part so they really did get what they deserved.
Also, Trump has successfully put in the minds of the Trumpites that Antifa is a large organized group of terrorists. The truth is that they are a disorganized group who feel that they best way to fight fascism is to do so as soon as it rears its ugly head rather than waiting until it is too late. That movement pales in comparison to the number of people running around wearing mega hates and telling the rest of us that we are nothing more than libtards and ginning up violence.

Violence happened when the thugs (Antifa) showed up. A lot of emotion from the right with how the election has gone. Anyone is dumb, no, actually a loser, to blame the incidents on Trump supporters. Were some on the right maybe doing wrong? Perhaps. Families got harassed by these losers. There was no issues until the left wing nut jobs showed up.
If you can't see this, you are as close to being retarded as they come. The libs on here defending the actions are as pathetic, and losers, just like Antifa is.

Three ways to control people:
Media
Education
Big Tech

What do those 3 things have in common? Ability to not tell the truth.

Why did we give Gore 30 something days, but yet Trump should just concede, with a lot of suspicious activity to possibly have happened?
Trump’s lawyer says they have proof that Dominion was a rigged setup.

BLM has already demanded they get taken care of. A lot of handouts to be given.
Sounds like we gonna get back to politics as usual if Sleepy Joe wins.

I think this would be good strategy. It would help unite the country against Covid..

"Dr. Anthony Fauci says ‘it would be better’ if Trump administration health officials worked with Biden's transition team" https://twitter.com/i/events/1328017013516636160?s=09
There's nothing that will unite the country on Covid. Some believe masks work some don't. Some want a shutdown and another stimulus, some want to keep things open and continue to work. I'm with the side that wants to work and masks don't help. A vaccine will help, but I think like all viruses have to run their course. Protect the vulnerable as best we can, but we can't afford another lockdown for 4-6 months when the first one didn't stop the virus. At first it was flatten the curve, now it's about defeating the virus.
The narrative keeps changing.

We have become a country that just wants handouts. I read an article that said a husband and wife should be paid for 12 weeks leave when they have a baby. What employer can pay for this? There's going to be a day when the working class says "screw it, I'm done." I guess the government will just take care of everyone. NOT!!!

Good points. The establishment has done a masterful, yet corrupt, job of is controlling 3 big items:
The media, education, and Big Tech. People are getting censored for their views. We know what happens in education. You plant liberals in the highest spots, and use it like a pyramid down to the teachers. What better way to indoctrinate the kids? The media is nothing short of a disgrace. They're winning though. That's the bad part.

I am with the side that WANTS TO WORK, AND BELIEVES MASKS HELP. You know the old saying, "two heads better than one." Why not bring the research of "Operation Warp Speed" headed by Vice-Pres Pence to the table with the incoming Biden team??? Certainly it can't hurt as cases continue to spike post-election.

Why do they need to be working with the Biden team? He's not the president elect. He may wind up being. But there's too much up in the air. States are still counting, we have suspected fraud, and some major computer issues/fraud that have surfaced.
My concern though is, by the slim chance Trump proves enough to win, the left will go apeshit. The media may give them the gasoline.

If we were "winning," Trump would not have gotten 70 million votes and the entire Republican Party would have lost its seats in Congress. You have a very strange idea of winning.

Just my views....Privately aides are saying Trump has reconciled himself to defeat. Biden is the "President-Elect" technically unless Trump's legal team proves otherwise. However I think Trump team could transition, yet still keep battling in court. Hes still got plenty of time.

The working class you are talking about are in the rust belt, you know Trump country. We "libtards" are sick and tired of funding the economy so that people in the rust belt can refuse to get retrained so their skill set matches the 21st century. And we are really sick of getting yelled at like we are the ones who created the handout culture.

That is absolutely correct Hart. Usually the litigation starts AFTER the states have certified their counts and, even while it is going on, the outgoing administration does not interfere with a smooth transition. But, this cry baby plays by his own rules and clearly is not putting the country first.

You think Shatter is the only one saying this? First, remember all the "US. Love It Or Leave It," posters during the Vietnam wall pointed at the kids who were protesting? As far as I am concerned (and I am absolutely not alone) anyone who could look at what Trump has done over the last four years and still think he deserves four more, has an idea of America that is very different from mine and I don't want to live in that one. Before you start screaming about how closed minded I am being, a little introspection. You have no desire to live with people who think like me, Jtre and Shatter. Otherwise you would not be calling us stupid, brainwashed or liars. You would try to open a dialogue and convince us that your views were the right ones and you might listen to us a little more and perhaps, if not agree with some portion of what we are saying, understand why we are saying it.

I haven't benefitted at all from this new system. My taxes went up, my right to marry is under attack and I have watched the president back a real assault on one's health. Not to mention, he has made no effort to tackle climate change, which caused thinks like Hurricane Sandy, which destroyed parts of the city I love.

Again, you all are very far behind what the evidence shows. For the most part, we are gainfully employed and our taxes support the rest of the country, including the rust belt, a solidly red area, where a large number of workers are doing nothing to find jobs for themselves now that a lot of manufacturing has left the country. You guys need us more than you are willing to admit.

Well, I just asked you to define your terms to make sure we were on the same wave length. Your definition of conservatism was not far off from what I was thinking. As far as being a liberal, I believe the government has no place in the bedroom or in a woman's uterus and should not dictate who can love whom. I believe that global warming is about to get so out of hand that, if we don't act immediately, the planet will be unsustainable within the next century. I do see the government as an agent for good. I want it to promotes thingslike an absence of racism in hiring and promotion, the end of red-lining, makes sure that religion stays as a private matter and is not an excuse to insult people or attack their rights as full Americans. I also believe we need to raise taxes, otherwise the irresponsible economic plans touted by the Republicans (which I really believe are not admirable but are a coded way of white men wanted to make sure that people of color don't benefit from their money) will kill the economy. Under the republicans, our debts now consumes a huge portion of our GNP and whereas before (i.e. under the Democrats) the size of the debt was manageable, it is no longer. I also believe that as a country of immigrants, we should welcome more immigrants, while continuing to vet them to ensure only people who want to come and work honestly are let in. Lastly, I believe that workers should me able to receive a living wage and I would like to see healthcare move out of the private sector, where it does not work, to the government who, as Medicare has shown, are pretty good at overseeing healthcare.

About what I expected from you. You're entitled to your views, even though I think they are very misguided, and honestly, scary. A lot of what I believe you feel is getting horrible info from the media. Blaming racism on white republicans. That's a dangerous take. I think you're so clouded in your judgement, you don't even see how bad democrats are, especially when race is involved. It's a tool used by them for votes, and a lot of times, they incite the racism when the mic is in front of them. Racism is not exclusive to one race. That's an area that liberals won't admit.
There's no good answer for global warming. Sure, most people would like for things to be cleaner, but, more harm would be done to get cleaner air. Jobs would be lost, families affected...
I never said we don't need liberals. Education is full of them. It's indoctrinating our youth that becomes the issue. I don't push my views on my employees or customers.

Climate change is Trump's fault too? If I'm not mistaken, Obama and Sleepy Joe were in office for 8 years.

Your line about the government being an agent of good is where Democrats and Republicans split. I'm gonna ramble so bear with me. Republicans tend to see the government as the man and don't want the government involved in the economy, they don't want taxes, they don't like regulations and in general they want all the economic power in the hands of the civilians. Which is fine, until you look at it realistically and see that if not for regulations, trade laws and taxes, corporations would be able to run roughshod over everyone else, which unfortunately is already a pretty big issue.

When you take power away from the government, at least in a democracy, you're taking away power from yourself and your fellow citizens and handing it over to these corporations like Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc... Who have no reason to care about anything, other than getting you to use or buy their products. The government on the other hand does have a reason, because we the people are the ones who put them in the high position in society they are at, and if they don't do what we want, we can take them out just as easy. And that's the part I wish they would understand. I get it, you can't trust the people in the government because in general people aren't trustworthy, but you should be able to trust their self-interest, which is making sure their constituency is happy so they get to keep their station in life.

If we could get them to understand this you would get rid of some these Republican voters who only vote that way because "i don't trust none of them but at least this one isn't raising my taxes". That would still leave the abortion voters but those are gonna start having less of an impact as more Gen-Z and eventually Gen-Alpha voters come to play.

The other thing that kills me about Republicans, moreso the very religious ones if they constantly whine and ***** about freedom of religion, but have no issue whatsoever trying to take that freedom from others. These theocracies that America has typically went to war with and that you can't stand, that's what you're trying to turn us into and kills me that they cannot or will not see it. Your religion should be left at the door of your home or place of worship. Our Founding Fathers, who they love to quote when talking about gun rights, said the same thing. Separation of Church and State people.

Your life and mine under Trump are very different. It took a huge effort to get gay marriage (something that happened during the Obama administration) but now that McConnell stole Garland’s seat and Trump was able to appoint three very conservative (and at least 2 who are not qualified) judges, there is a huge risk that Obergefell will be overruled. those judges would not be sitting there had a Democrat made the appointment. My taxes went up because Trump was willing to sign a bill that removed the SALT deductions, something a Democrat would not have done. Also, I don’t appreciate how comfortable the white supremacists are publicly touting their hate or how generally people are ruder because they take their tips from Trump. As far as blaming Trump, yes I blame him for his ridiculous and disingenuous attitudes toward immigration, for trying to kick transpeople out of the military when the military members said they wanted to keep them. I blame him for rolling back the Obama administrations carbon emissions standards and I blame him for basically doing the religious rights bidding even though he himself has not a stitch of morality in him.

Couldn’t disagree more. Blame the white man, blame Trump...
Not a single mention to the thugs doing billions of dollars in damage to tons of cities, nor the gutless leaders of those cities.
Your views are so filled with hate, an ignorant hate, but it’s still hate.
I shouldn't expect thoughtful response from you. Much easier to remain ignorant and attack the rest of us. Normally I would not post like this but you have been such a prick to me throughout that I am done making any effort to be polite.

Trump made big gains with hispanics, yet you libs fuss about his stance on immigration, and what he supposedly said about them. Another hack job by the media. They spun what he said, leaving out his comment about ms-13, and such. So, you guys can say what you want, when in fact, more decided to vote for him this election.
You know why? From their own mouths, they left socialism behind for the opportunities in America.

You libs are nothing but feelings, and worse is they're not even based off truths.

Okay, here's the thing, Trump did do much better with Cubans and Puerto Ricans, his attacks about Biden being a socialist worked on them. They handed him Florida. However other Latino voters vastly preferred Biden. And Trumps hard stance on immigration was a big part of that.

Immigration isn’t limited to a Hispanic issue so you are mixing apples and oranges. trump turned his policies over to a 33 year old angry bigot, who restored the nativist strain that should be an embarrassment to any thinking person. When you live in a City with as active in immigrant population as we do in NYC, you realize how much they add to the economy and the cultural fabric of the City. There are parts of this country that don’t have a large enough population to function and they are begging for immigrants. Instead little Stevie, who was traumatized by having to pick up his own trash, thinks no one should come in unless he is a millionaire. He should be ashamed

You don’t like it when I talk “ugly” to you, and say I’m a prick. You aren’t helping your cause, and I’m having to bite my tongue to not tell you how ridiculous this post is.
You are one angry lib.

A damn shame your life was so good until Trump took office. I didn’t like Obama, but he wasn’t responsible for all that happened like Trump is in your eyes. You’re on another level.

Well, I explained that I was done being polite, but don’t censor your thoughts on my account. As for the rest, your only response is that I am angry . From now on, i’ll just answer for you:”You are a joke. Almost as bad as Shutter. One of the worst posters on here.” How was that? Close?
