Okay, I understand wanting people to go through the proper channels to get into our country legally, but lets be totally honest here, the vast majority who manage to get in illegally aren't here to steal jobs or avoid taxes. They are here to try to build a better life for themselves or their families, getting away from a country that is absolutely full of rampant corruption, gang violence, and worst of all the cartel. I cannot blame anyone for wanting to get away from that. It's not particularly safe.
But here's the other thing, most are going to the border and attempting to cross legally, and then turned away. When you turn them away, and they know what's back home, they're not just gonna shrug their shoulders and go back, they're gonna try to find another way. Personally I feel we that the way to tackle this is to either send military support to Mexico and help them get rid of their myriad of issues, which would obviously help cut down on the number of people trying to enter our country. I know that's not ideal and most wouldn't be in favor of sending our guys and girls down there fight someone else's battle but, unfortunately it has become our fight. If not that then we need to open our borders and help these people find their way in our country.
But yeah, as it stands the issue is far bigger than just people entering here illegally, maybe you should look and see WHY exactly they are willing to risk it and understand that there is no simple solution.
