Biden used a process called reconciliation, which is not subject to the filibuster, and only required a simple majority to pass, which the democrats have. Thus not needing to entertain Republicans bitching, groaning and obstruction, the Dems were actually able to get something done. The only reason the raise to $1200 didn't happen was because of Republicans, who at the time held the Senate.Let me get this straight ...when Trump wanted to increase the 600$ stimulus to I think 1200? That was crazy and wasn’t happening. But Biden’s 1400$ passed with flying colors...I don’t much get it
I don't know the details of the price increase. But Biden reversed orange man's EO that drastically lowered the cost of insulin which obviously caused the price to increase. So in what world would that not be Biden's fault?
*sigh* No, the only EO that of Trumps that had anything to do with insulin that Biden touched was one that requires community centers to pass along discounts to people who need insulin. And he didnt reverse it either, he froze it until it could be reviewed, (along with multiple other EO's during the final days of Trump's term) its pretty likely he just lets go into effect at the End of March.
