Tiana Lowe is a shill and the Washington Examiner is a rag.

Mayor Bower's decision was risky, foolish, and hypocritical.
Datt you probably won’t be shocked to hear this and I know I’m teeing you up for one of your zingers but I love the Examiner. Sadly however my dear auntie has let my subscription run out. It’s cool though I’ve been hitting that news max

So how, exactly, did we ever flatten any curves?

You would need to isolate for behavior to say whether spread among mask wearers and non-wearers indicates causation.

And I'm going to need to see receipts on all of this. I'll go w/ the CDC on this one.
How did we ever flatten the curve? Vaccines, herd immunity, it’s how every single virus works. Viruses eventually mutate and get weaker, some more contagious than others but the points Remain the same. Herd immunity is what flattens curve, whether you’ve had a virus or were vaccinated with what we’ve been told are vaccines that are 90-95% effective against covid.

I don’t know Lowe, but the Mayor’s decision wasn’t risky or foolish. It was hypocritical, at best. She should be held accountable, and removed from office, and have to perform at least 40 hours of community service. I suggest she shovel **** with no mask.

Yes but a populace is much more easily controlled when we’re scared out of our minds. The Delta variant. Ooh ooh liberals want us scared and helpless

If she picked up a shovel that would probably be the first time she’s done any real labor

Yep. Don’t dare think for yourself either, They want us dependent on them. You do that by controlling the media and also the educational system.
Libs give no credit to anyone unless they graduated from a major institution. Anything other than that is a conspiracy theorist, at best, or a dumbed down white redneck.

It's fine that you love it. I love a lot of things I wouldn't dare put out there as a citation because I know they're speaking to my bubble. Self-awareness goes a long way.

The irony here is that if you actually use the numbers cdc has on their own freaking site, you would realize we are being hoodwinked. Herd immunity has been reached and if it hasn’t it is at the doorstep. The numbers On their own site prove that.
Do you have a dog? I do. When I walk my dog, I cross over the doorstep back into the house before I take her leash off.

Why would anyone want us scared and helpless? As a populace, we've demonstrated throughout this pandemic that we respond to fear by flipping out and splintering.

The things you wouldn't dare put out there must be terrifying. The things you do put out there are really bad. Talk about self-awareness.

Didn’t bother reading it?
Okay, I didn't finish it. Now I have. It's well written and makes compelling points. It is, ultimately, an opinion piece, and it is making a comparison to a country w/ a completely different healthcare system and mindset. If people think masks are a conspiracy to rob us of our freedoms, how would we ever test enough people to measure antibodies?

Human beings were not meant to wear masks. I just read this interesting article that went through dozens of studies on the efficacy of masks. Check it out.

I do think there is a “control” component that has been put in place with these masks mandates. It’s a clever tactic that’s been used by our government. Invoking fear in many people. It wasn’t too long ago they had us like school children. Walk this way down this aisle, don’t go out that door. Also look at the people alone in their cars wearing a mask, or walking in a restaurant wearing one, only to take it off when they sit down.

If there is another mandate, most conservatives will not wear them. Which will cause trouble.

This isn’t being done for our own good, nor is it by accident.

Your paranoia is.

Funny how quickly conservatives abandon "law & order" as soon as it's inconvenient for them.

Regarding your "school children" analogy: the rules that existed then made sense, and we followed them in good faith. Nobody make up rules for fun. Ulterior motives, yes, sometimes, but there is always a purpose. By middle school, we become cynical and question rules because we know everything when we're 13. We ask "When are we ever going to need this?" about things like calculating interest. Then we grow up.

I’m far from paranoid datt. You just don’t think for yourself. A huge difference between you and me is you believe what our “leaders” tell us. I don’t. Well, you believe what your party says. You’re institutionalized. Not sure if you like our country. Your avatar shows how weak you are as well.
I like this country, but not the government. I’m not sure you feel that way.

Actually, no, conservatives have been fighting against even the voluntary wearing of masks since April of 2020. Only shutdowns, mask mandates, and vaccines have helped flatten curves, and now we're seeing numbers increase again b/c people -- mainly the same conservatives -- got impatient and rushed to return to a normal that wasn't working for many to begin with.
Please prove. I’ve got over 10 states data that shows when masks were implemented, numbers spiked many weeks later. I know you think you’re intelligent, but don’t step out on this limb. You’ll get beaten badly.

Four police officers that responded to the 1/6 riot at the Capitol have died by suicide. If you don't find something very strange about this, you aren't just a sheep, you're brain dead.
