If cases of covid could be linked to the party do you really think we would know about it? No way in China
Seriously? You don't think there would be someone who would love to break that story? You have so decided to dismiss the msm that you are down a rabbit hole. Anyway, I would not put it past NewsMax or Fox to have an article based on no facts about how much the Obama party was too blame. That is how little faith I have in them.

Exactly. She keeps (conveniently) forgetting that we have admitted most all politicians are sleazy. Instead, she digs in deeper, only casting blame to one side.

They can’t win on issue, but they have msm on their side.

Edit, as I was typing this, the Ol gal posted the gem above, proving my point.

Mac, if you have facts that prove me wrong, then please, post them here. Insulting me may make you feel superior but it does nothing to the counter the point I am making.

75 people have tested positive on Martha’s Vineyard since the party.
Great bumper sticker here in Raleigh…”Biden didn’t get 80 million votes.
He got 80 million ballots.”

I’ve posted lots of videos, articles. You scoff at them, discrediting the source I used. The most fair commentator out there is Bill O’Reilly, who’s not a conservative. I’ve posted several of his videos. I don’t like everything he says, but he’s giving his honest opinion. He said the same thing Topps did about Mueller.

None of it matters to you though. You don’t want the facts. You are gridlocked in party politics, whereas I’ve admitted both sides are dirty.

I meant about whether the Obama party was responsible for the covid outbreaks in Martha's Vineyard.

This is stupid. One, people know the risks and as adults they decided to take the risk. I have no issues with people holding gatherings for any reason. However, it is almost unc level stupidity to try to convince yourself that a gathering of over 500 people traveling from all over the country, including security, caterers, entertainment and cleaning services wouldn't lead to a significant outbreak in cases. Vaxxed or not vaxxed. What do you get out of denying this?

Certainly the Obamas recognized as much, which was why they cut their guest list down by more than half.

Again, you obviously don’t read what I post. The problem to me isn’t Obama having a birthday party, it’s the elitists doing what they want, yet shaming/condemning “regular folks” for doing similar things.

Please stop spinning things to fit your narrative.

Your deflecting is actually amusing. The reason the "elites" behave this way is that they actually take the necessary steps to stay safe. A party outdoors, with a group most of whom are vaccinated and who have to show negative covid tests, and masks available. If you "regular folks" took those same precautions, the elites would not have a problem with it. I am not sure why you don't see that but I guess your blinders fit in with your narrative.

This may be the most retarded post I’ve read. That’s outdumbing a few of your comrades. I don’t know how anyone can be so ignorant and post something so ridiculous as what you just did.

You have just won the golden goober award. Even though you don’t want it, it’s yours.

So regular folks like me who got vaccinated isn’t good enough? Or is that enough until it’s not enough? Which one is it? You can attend a party if you’re sophisticated enough vaxxed or not. If you’re not sophisticated than you can’t attend and you’re a super spreader.

I’m sorry but I couldn’t let this one go. This is absurd.

Just read story that the Taliban head mastermind of takeover was released by Obama in prisoner swap for the deserter Bergdahl. If that is true then it is no wonder the Hollywood/ Netflix birthday boy shut off comments on Instagram.

Are YOU serious? My point was that while Ghost and Mac say it was hypocritical of Obama to have a big party like he did while he, and his supporters, are commenting on dangerous behavior in other people, in fact they took the recommended steps to minimize the risk of illness. So, yes, if you are vaccinated, feel free to attend parties and, in some cases even do it unmasked (so long as there are no immune compromised people in your home who might suffer if you unknowingly brought the Delta variant back). But being unvaccinated limits what and when you can do it safely.
And the thing is, Timo, once again you decided to read some subcontext into my remarks that is not there. I never said word one about being who are vaccinated being "sophisticated." I put "elite" in quotes to show that I was quoting Mac. It is not a term I use on my own since I hate the way it is thrown around now.

There was plenty of criticism, especially when the initial plan was for 500 plus guests, even from the main stream media. Of course, the Obamas took steps to make sure everyone was safe. KD specifically called the party a superspreader and I just wanted to point out that for the moment that label is inaccurate.
There was not any criticism from the msm.In fact there line was that this was a sophisticated crowd who was vaccinated They ignored the fact that the CDC was saying that vaccinated people can spread the virus.Again I repeat there was nothing wrong with him having a party just the hypocrisy of the reporting on it

The way the left fawns over their political leaders is cringe worthy. They literally can't do anything wrong in their eyes.

Thankfully it is not you that determines what is considered dangerous behavior. And it is absolutely hypocritical for anyone who has mandated covid regulations to not follow their own mandates. It is absolutely hypocritical of the media and their sheeple to have different standards for certain people/party. But if it weren't for double standards, you guys wouldn't have any standards at all.

On 8/9 Datt pointed out it wasn’t a good look that they were having this party. You replied that they were all vaxxed so it’s fine. I didn’t realize that 1. You had their medical records and 2. That all vaxed people could now hang out together. I guess now we can, thanks.

You mentioned in a previous post that you can’t prove that all 63 (now 85) positive tests from his bday party can be proven or traced to his party. Since Martha’s Vineyard had the biggest case count in months. But let’s pretend you can’t trace it back, which truthfully is fine by me. It’s also true by me that I couldn’t care less he had a party with 500 people. 200 staff. Flying people in etc. I DONT CARE.

Just stop lecturing everyone else. Get off your high horse and get over yourself. You’re not better than anyone else.

I did not have everyone's records Their being vaxxed was reported in the news. And seriously, you did not realize that vaxxed people could hang out together? A huge point of the vaccine was so that people could return to normal lives, which included getting together without masks. As far as lecturing, wtf? I have opinions and I express them. I try to make sure I can back them up with facts, sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don't. You also get on your high horse as well and intentionally misread my posts so that you can take your pot shots. So turning the mirror back on you, perhaps you should take your own advice and get off your high horse.

Tell me this is slanted

It's slanted.
Sure, he calls out right-wing media for acting as if President Biden was commending Gov Cuomo's personal behavior, but he also says that "The right-wing press doesn't want to be like the left-wing press and report stuff that is false." It is assumed that the left-wing press lies, but that the right-wing press doesn't... unless it wants to be like the left-wing press.
And the intonation: He's gentle and correcting toward the right-wing press, then stresses words like "bunk," "how bad Cuomo has been for NY," and "It's CUOMO who did all that." The one stat he cites is that 1.4 million people left NY in a decade under Gov Cuomo. That in and of itself doesn't prove anything, and O'Reilly doesn't offer anything to support it. He mentions "hundreds of people" he knows personally -- "affluent, good people" -- who have left NY. So an anecdotal survey of O'Reilly's friends qualifies as non-slanted? He cites highest taxes in the country as a negative and crime in NYC, both conservative staples. And he says Biden doesn't know or care to know b/c he's all in on left-wing ideology -- another assumption of motive and character where he gives the right grace.
Look at the disdain on his face when he's talking about Biden, Cuomo, and the state of NY -- and talking for 60+% of the clip about them -- after a small, gentle, then dismissed chiding of right-wing media on an absolute no-brainer.

Look, I'm sure I could present something I consider unbiased and you could point out all kinds of liberal bias. Nobody is as good at seeing it when it's stuff they agree with.
