Growing up Black students who tried in school were called Oreos by the majority of Black students. Until this thinking changes their community will continue to flounder

This is not just a black issue....many whites in the poor southern states also fall into these traps. Read Hillbilly elergy and you will see the similarities...though they are rarely mentioned. Poverty is colorblind and does not discriminate, all races are affected and the root causes are all familiar.
