The Niners have got some serious issues.

Will they quit on harbaugh? Players certainly don't like him. No one is a bigger ram fan tonight than Michigan

I like Kap but the Niners way over paid for him and if he does not get his crap together then they are not even going to make the playoffs much less be a contender.

I agree. USM Quarterbacks can't make it in the NFL

Getting eaten alive by freaking former mustard buzzard Austin Davis. Awful.

Austin Davis has as much in common with Favre as Mike Henig does with Dak Prescott.

The 'demise' of the 49ers is greatly exaggerated. These 'unnamed' source stories are pure crap. If you do not want to play for a coach that took a Sly Croom-like team and made them into the MSU type team (see what I did there? What the 17 would have ever thought we would be able to use US as that example?!?!?) does not deserve to be on that team.

The way the 49ers look right now is completely due to injuries. We need to stay within 1 game of the Seahawks until 11/9. At that point, Aldon Smith, Navaro Bowman, Glenn Dorsey all return. The OL has been playing without the RG and RT for most of the first part of the season. Frankly, we haven't played pretty but wins are all that matter. If York chooses to let Harbaugh go, it will easily be one of the worst decisions in NFL history. I do not care if he ruffles feathers or not, grow up. The man wins and he wins big. The team went without a playoff win for a decade before he got there. That is just not right.

I agree that injuries have played a huge role in their play but Kap has got to get to the point where games like last night are the norm if they are to be contenders. He has an incredible receiving corp now unlike in the past where he had just Vernon Davis and Crabtree so it is time for him to step up and earn that paycheck.

Harbaugh's tendency to go ultra conservative with a lead drives me nuts too. That interception return was their first 4th quarter TD of the season.

I really think the biggest prob for the 9ers is their offensive identity. They continue to not be able to decide between being a power running team and opening it up. Kaep is not bad, I just think he is confused a lot. And, I do not think that is him as much as it is the playcalling. We seem to 'set in our ways' of what they want to do from series to series. Not even game to game. And it will be from 5 wide to 2 TEs and a full house backfield. Just need to figure out which we are and stick with it. I think the problems are much more with Roman than they are with Harbaugh. (now, I cannot not tell you if Harbaugh is the cog in the wheel or the grease trying to save the wheel...)

Maybe, but you've gotta be really careful when throwing around that "overpaid" term with NFL QBs. As a Niners fan, I'll be the first to admit that I've been a little disappointed with his results this year and that his contract is mind-boggling. That said, it's a case of supply and demand when it comes to NFL caliber QBs, and the fact is that he's a Top 15 QB even in a down year and someone was going to pay him. The Niners could have either invested in their own young QB that had been to two straight NFC Championship games or they could have gone back to drawing board with trying to find one in the draft. Ultimately, I think it was an easy decision for them, and I have no reason to believe that he won't continue to improve.
