in my opinion, the biggest series of the year to this point. We dropped from T1 to 4th in the West, one game behind Ole Miss. LSU is also a half game ahead, so if we are able to win the series, or maybe even sweep, we'll be right there. Would y'all agree?

Only game I feel confident in is sat. We really need woodruff to be his old self on Friday nights

Maybe so. I saw a glimmer of hope Friday night though, so I'm not giving up yet.

Yeah

I'm not saying I'm giving up on him, but in SEC play he hasn't done anything outstaning (overall). It's time for him to start showing what he can do, consistently.

He looked pretty damn good to me Friday night. A 96 mph fastball low in the zone is tough to handle, I don't care who you are.

One thing to keep in mind re: Woodruff, is that the ump on Friday was giving a fairly generous zone. He may be coming around, but I'm not convinced based on that game that he should be our Friday night starter. Cohen and Thompson may have more data from bull pen throwing and know what they are doing, but hopefully Brown is healthy for Friday.

There's no doubt

that the kid can produce stuff that will blow batters away. The only problem has been with his command, overall.

OM is a hitting club.

To win the series this weekend, we'll have to find a way to produce more runs. If we rely on pitching, we will face the same hurdles we saw last weekend, possibly worse.
